Christmas Nightmare

Let me start off by saying this unit is beautiful or at least at 1st sight it’s beautiful. When my children and I arrived, we were super excited and we thought the house was immaculate. Later at night, my two year-old son brought me a rat trap with rat poison? My daughter was laying on the couch to find out that there was horrifying things behind the couch and in the couch, it was mice Feces everywhere and rat traps everywhere.The sofa was absolutely disgusting And horrifying. While the company did offer to come in and clean the house, things got even worse the cleaner came in and move things, and it was just pure horrifying. My daughter had a severe allergic reaction. The company did move us to a new unit however, it was dusty and old. While Donnie at the office was wonderful and tried to make the situation better his supervisor took forever and acted as if it was no big deal. I never got an apology, a refund not even a phone call from management to say anything at all. My children and myself Christmas was ruined. Also be aware they VRBO said they can’t do anything I have to go through the company Vacasa, again just A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!!

Vacation

Very nice place. We would definitely stay again. Our only complaint is the pool hours. It doesn't open until 11am and closes at 8pm. The kids wanted to go every morning and evening but with seeing and doing other things while on vacation it was hard to squeeze pool time in with those hours.

Great location; property was ok

The location cannot be beat and vacasa was super responsive and was communicative over text. Sadly we will not likely stay here again. The place needs a solid deep clean. There was mold/mildew in the master bath tiles. The sofa is not an ideal choice for a beach property and sand spilled out everytime you sat on it. There were random bits of trash in places under furniture. The second bedroom is incredibly musty smelling. While this is to be anticipated in a beach front property, they really need to check this particular bedroom for mold/mildew in the drywall based on the smell. The same bedroom had a dresser full of grit so we could not use it. They offered to refund half of my cleaning fee but I'm not sure that has occurred yet. The oven in the kitchen looks like it may have had a fire at some point? The light in the master bath was missing it's housing. The dishwasher did not drain. When they offered a repair person, they neglected to follow up as promised so we arrived back to surprise repair visitors. There were a couple roaches, and they were supposed to send some traps. Despite follow ups to check on the status, those never came. The outside lights do not turn on in the patio. Much of the furniture is in disrepair (headboard loose on master bed, bunk bed a little wobbly) and the bedrooms are lighted by super dim lamps only so it's challenging to see at night. The bunk bed room has a broken closet door, broken dresser drawers, and broken blinds. When I mentioned this at check in, the person at the counter said, "Ok," and that was it. The closets are all full of a random mish mash of hastily folded linens toppling over (not sure how clean they are), random bathroom or kitchen supplies, and other odds and ends. Overall our stay was fine. But just fine. It was super convenient to the beach and to restaurants, but the place needs a once over big time. If I was the owner I would be extremely displeased at how it is being managed.

Will stay here again...but...

The location of this unit is perfect. The unit comes with two parking spots, but 59th street is free parking as well. The size is wonderful. Large dinning table with 6 chairs. Washer, dryer, stove, and refrigerator all great! A table and four chairs on the large private deck. However, a little extra cleaning is needed; ceiling fans, inside of cabinets and storage closets. The bedroom with the bunkbed had a funky smell, and the living room couch is really bad. The bunk is not large enough for two adults in the bottom bunk. The top bunk is not real sturdy, and I would suggest a small child only.

Weekend getaway

The place was great , I loved how closed it was to the beach and the wrap around porch. I wasn’t too happy that are check in time was 4pm & when we arrived they were still cleaning and we couldn’t get in until 5:10. I also was not happy with the fact that they offer pool access & we were unable to access the pool because it required a fob witch we did not have, we called and spoke with 3 different people & we’re told he would get a call back from the management team to have a fob given to us for pool access…… still waiting on the call.
