Overall the house is ok and we did have a good time. On the plus side, it's a great location. It was clean and tidy. The kitchen is updated, all appliances work, and it has a lot of silverware and dishes. The air conditioning works well, as does the WiFi. The master bath is decent (although the shower is weird... you can't turn it on unless your inside the shower). The pool is also a big plus. On the bad side, they didn't tell us (nor does it say in the listing) that the property has no sheets or bath towels. I texted the manager and he said that we need to provide our own or rent them. He gave me the name of a local linen rental place and we were able to get them by 9pm (cost us about $140 which we weren't expecting). Just note that there is NO KING BED in this house, even though the listing says so. Good thing we measured the beds before ordering the linens. There are 3 Queen beds and 4 twin beds. The TV in the lower living room didn't work, but the other two did. The manager came to look at it though (which we did appreciate and he seemed like a nice guy). The TVs have very basic cable. Also note that the kitchen is lacking on pots and pans, but not a big deal as we didn't cook very much. The worst thing though is the furniture. Mostly old/outdated, very cheap (although the upstairs living room & dining room are ok). Outside there is no picnic table so you can't even eat outside. Outside you get 5 white plastic chairs, which are old, dirty and really scratched up, a few small metal chairs (I mean really small, more like decorative - they hurt to sit on) and 4 chairs in the enclosed porch that have cushions, but 1 was completely broken and another was coming apart. And a tip for the pool, watch your step. Some of the bricks around the pool are loose. One of my family members stepped on a loose brick and it caused him to fall. Thank God he was OK. Also the steps going into the pool are the same color as the bottom and in the bright sun they are hard to see. We stubbed many toes. I think this house could easily be a five-star house with just a little love and attention. Get some new furniture and add a picnic table. You may also want to get some firesticks or something for the TVs too. I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 because of the linen/towel issue, lying about the master having a King bed, and the cheap crappy furniture. If the house is ever updated though with new furniture, I would stay there again. The location and having a pool is awesome!
