Nice place. It’s clean and updated. Full kitchen has all amenities. Great view and only steps from the beach. Wish swimming pool was outside vs inside but that was okay.

Great condo for a small family. We loved that there was a bedroom on the floor above all the other rooms. We have a 7 month old and it was great being able to let him sleep upstairs in a quiet room without us needing to tip toe around the rest of the condo. It was also relatively quiet as it is a couple miles away from the Boardwalk, so the beach was great for a young family. There are a couple good restaurants/coffee shop and a grocery within walking distance, which is very convenient. Although the outside of the building is not the most beautiful, this unit was newly renovated and in great condition.

Everything was great, until we had a real estate agent come in on us unexpected. No apology and still wanted to show the place. No communication from anyone, thank goodness it was Saturday morning and we still had 1 day left, because it would’ve bothered me the whole week had it happened first thing when we got there.

The unit itself was beautiful. Definitely could have been much cleaner. The floors had sand and fingernail clippings on them at check in. Also, there is technically only one balcony as the second has a large air conditioning unit on it making it unusable. Would not recommend staying anywhere in Century 1. The elevators malfunctioned several times trapping people inside, the lobby, stairwell and elevators are terribly hot. There is only one elevator to use for luggage as there are multiple flights of stairs to get to the lobby. There is a flight of stairs to get to the beach making it difficult to use beach wagons etc. The building is dated and the hallways smell. There were mice running around outside near the pool and beach access. It’s impossible to find a luggage rack (actually grocery carts) to use at check in. Would recommend spending money elsewhere, only reason I am giving three stars is due to the unit itself being nice.

Wonderful stay!

The apartment was fantastic - great location, great views, and very clean. We had a challenge with the wifi, but it was quickly resolved. They even followed up to make sure it was working OK. My family of 5 stayed there comfortably. We'll likely go back next year!

Great beach getaway

We had a great time here, our whole family including my little kids as well as my 70+ dad enjoyed the beach, the fact that we could just walk down to beach was amazing. We enjoyed the excellent views including sunrise from our deck, even spotted dolphins, kids were so excited. There wasn’t a ramp from the property to beach, so we had to carry our wagon carrying beach chairs and umbrella up and down the stairs when getting to beach. Just FYI, The washer in laundry was full of clothes & towels presumably from previous occupants. We ran the washer again, switched it to dryer then placed in bag outside.

Unbeatable views

The property was modern, clean and right in front of the ocean. It was great to fall asleep and wake up looking at the ocean from the 16th floor. It would be great if they cleaned the outside of the windows of the property to have a better view though. Also, one important thing is that there is a sliding door in the top floor bedroom that opens up to the void! If kids are not supervised there could be an awful tragedy there. People should not have the ability to open that door.

It got better...

This condo looks exactly as pictured! It is simply gorgeous! We had a very difficult check in and initial experience. The building has primarily stair access, it is handicap accessible, from most entry points and only three elevators. There is one elevator for beach access and luggage. Maneuvering through the elevator stairwells is hard due to small areas and poorly aligned doors. Elevators do move quickly, so we found an unoccupied one typically within a few minutes. Saturday is a big move in and leave day, so be prepared. They have bell hop carts and grocery carts available for use, but again, these are hard to maneuver through the stairwell and doors. The condo unit itself has an awkward setup at the entrance with immediate stairs and a small catwalk. This makes getting luggage and beach gear in and out hard, but doable. The master bedroom is upstairs and the other bed, bath, kitchen, and living room are downstairs. This is not obvious from the pictures. Something to keep in mind if you have kids, you will be on separate levels. The unit is truly beautiful, though. 16 floors up with two balconies, one ocean and one bay side. The main living areas are spacious and you will find most of what you need in the well appointed kitchen. The beach is lovely. Get your items out there early, around 6am, to guarantee your spot. It is filled up by 8:30/9am. The negative, our condo was not clean and our access code for the door did not work. Gary with Vantage is awesome and very helpful. He was a lifesaver. Once inside the condo, it was dirty, there is no other way to say it. Crumbs on the kitchen table, dripped shampoo and sand in both showers, spit on a bathroom mirror, all the kitchen stainless, including the garbage can, were smeared with something, and I get it, it is the beach, but sand was everywhere. Even piles of sand under my kid's dresser. A pile of linens were thrown in the corner of our room, no clue what they were for or if clean or dirty. I spent an hour cleaning with the Clorox wipes I brought (thankfully) and the vacuum in the bathroom closet while my husband unloaded the car. Not what I wanted to do, it made for a bad start. Management DID 100% respond to our complaints for which we are very thankful they were attentive and understanding. Overall, this was a fantastic vacation. The condo is wonderful, would be better clean (!). All things considered, we would rent there again.
