This was the worst travel experience I have ever had, and the first poor review I have ever written. This place has huge potential, but they were 100% unhelpful when we asked for things as simple as clean linens. We arrived and were given our keys. No friendly smile or welcome. We walked to the condo and the door was open. The place was not cleaned. A bad of dirty linens and towels were in the hallway in front of washer and dryer.. All 3 beds were stripped. No spare linens or blankets anywhere. We went to talk to check in folks and were told clean linens would be brought up in a few minutes. We then realized the dish washer was full of dirty dishes. 2 hours later (before office staff left for day) we stopped in to ask about linens and again were told they would send someone right away. Fast-forward 5 hours a few phone calls to the VBRO office and we were continually told clean linens would be brought to our room in a few minutes. At 11pm we were told we could go buy new linens and be reimbursed (um...a little late in the night for that). The issues continued. One bathroom drain was broken. Decided not to use as the water would run into cabinet and ruin cabinet. The box spring on 1 bed was completely broken. The only basic kitchen item was salt and pepper. No other spices, coffee, etc. Cooking meals was difficult. No cookie sheets, baking pan, broiler pan, Tupperware, plastic wrap foil........no basics except for cups, plates and utensils. I travel 6+ times per year. I have never complained nor posted a bad review. We asked before booking about indoor pool to ensure it would be open during are stay. We were told yes. It was not. I could go on and on but I won't. The view is gorgeous. There is huge potential but they did absolutely nothing to fix such a simple thing as providing linens (yes, we specifically booked this place because they mentioned providing linens in their advertisement - others said linens were NOT provided). So disappointed by something so fixable.
