This was our 2nd time staying at this property and everything was great once again. We had 6 adults and 4 children and this house is perfect for that size. There have been a number of updates to the house since our first stay in 2021

The property is nice and close to the beach

This house was equipped with everything needed for an extended stay and has a lot of room. Neighborhood is very quiet yet close to the beach. We did have an issue with ants throughout our stay but that was the only issue. Owner was very responsive.

Perfect!

I booked this last minute for a holiday weekend and everything about this property exceeded my expectations. I traveled with family including a group of teen boys. The location was perfect, near everything and yet in a quiet part of town. The house was perfectly equipped with anything you may need (or had forgot to pack) for a beach vacation. The host was incredibly thoughtful and I would definitely seek out this property to stay in again. 5+ stars!

About the house

Nice property, nice location, the cleaning though was not that good, refrigerator was very dirty, and there was dogs pee in one of the bedrooms. Just need a new house keeping. Overall, I would still recommend the property.

Charming, quiet beach house

Lovely canal front beach house in north OC. Very family friendly area and quiet which we loved. We had two older teenagers and two 20 year olds with us and all had a great time. Used the bus to get to the Broadwalk. Even our boys noted how nicely appointed the house was. Everything kitchen gadget I could think of they had in the kitchen. When we did eat out …Nori restaurant was excellent as was Pope’s pizza (all within walking distance). Walk to beach wasn’t bad (waiting for light to turn was the longest thing). Thanks for a lovely place to call “home” for a few days. Will definitely be back for a longer trip.

Extended Family of 10 Beach Vacation

Well maintained property in a very quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants and stores. Comfy beds, quality bed linens and pillows, and a closet full of fluffy bath towels. Kitchen is well equipped and we put the ice maker to good use. Lots of comfy seating throughout the home, deck and backyard. Six (6) TVs, the arcade game, and a cabinet full of board games provided lots of entertainment options on a rainy day. Big oak tree provided welcome shade on sunny days. Grandsons enjoyed trying to catch crabs off the dock (partially succeeded). Highly recommend this home.

Cleanest place we've ever rented!

The first thing I said when I walked in was - This place is so clean! It was a perfect fit for my family. The accommodations were high end. The kitchen was stocked with all of our cooking needs and the cookware was in great condition. My kids loved all the games and the bunk beds were awesome! All 4 kids wanted to sleep in the same room. The charm of being close to the beach, but having such a quiet place to retreat to was absolutely perfect. My husband and I really enjoyed sitting out back and having coffee on the canal in the morning and then again in the evening. We will definitely be renting this place again! Thank you for a great stay! We had so much fun!

Excellent property, no complaints.

This house is excellent!! We were two families of four. Combined we have stayed in a lot of beach properties and this house was definitely top notch. It’s extremely clean, very comfortable beds, adorable beach house. The kids loved the kids room with bunk beds. The house is stocked with absolutely everything you will need including plenty of towels, blankets, and all the cooking tools. The home owner was easy to reach and quickly responded to our few questions. The best part of the house is the back. Lovely place for a morning cup of coffee or a glass of wine after a beach day. The kids loved to play bean bags and go crabbing. Great for a beautiful Al fresco dinner, and great for family fire pits and s’mores in the evening. No complaints, great stay!

Small details made it a great place to stay

I’ve stayed in several properties over the last 15 years and the small things like included linens, coffee and laundry detergent were a great addition. The property is well cared for and the backyard was nice to have. I’ve always stayed in midtown to avoid the crowds that come with the high rises, but the beach was not as crowded as we expected, which is obviously a good thing. Walking distance to shops and a supermarket.

Beautiful comfy home, excellent location

There was a total of 10 of us who stayed at this property. (6adults,4kids). It was our first time vacationing in Ocean City with the family. The house is perfect. It suites our every need. The backyard was perfect for evening relaxation that included hanging on the hammock, fishing and just sitting down at the deck, playing a board game, enjoying the view.. especially after a long day outside touring the area. The house really exceeded my expectations. Unlike other homes I’ve rented, this one was very convenient for us as a family as it was stocked up with towels, paper towels and toilet paper. The kitchen provided everything we needed for cooking and cleaning. It was really nice having two washers and dryers, we got our laundry done in no time. Detergent was also provided! The rooms were very clean, decent size and beds were comfy. The Beach is about a 5-10min walk from the house. You have to cross a busy road which is what ur mostly waiting for. The popular ocean city boardwalk, specificially the Jolly Roger pier portion is a good 15-20 minute drive from the home. Majority of all the cool popular attractions were about the same distance. There was a little hiccup with reserving the parking permit, but something that was resolved. We had 3 cars that were able to fit, but tightly in the driveway, so we didn’t have to get the permit for off street parking (one jeep grand Cherokee and two Hyundai Elantra’s for reference). All in all, great, comfortable place to stay in a family friendly and quiet area.

This review is based on us being a large family with children ages Infant - 16! This place was absolutely fabulous!! Key features for us as a family was the one level for everything. The covered patio was fabulous for us since we unfortunately had bad weather during our stay. We loved the fact that there were paper products provided along with bath towels. I know it sounds stupid but when your packing for a large family it helps to not have to pack so many towels and paper products! Smart TV’s we’re great! The rooms were great and beds were very comfy! Another highlight is that the outside shower has hot water (fabulous for little kids who can’t stand rinsing off in cold water). Very quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to the beach and short drive to boardwalk. We definitely plan on staying here again! Everything was fabulous! The only “negative” thing I could say was the cleaning before us. There were water bottles and trash left behind from someone else along with hair in the shower. Def not a make or break nor the owners fault though. Thanks for a great stay!

Absolutely love the home and location

Perfect home for 2 families. We are a family of four that stayed with our friends who are also a family of four. Docked our boat right out back. Close to the beach and boardwalk. The home was beautiful, newly remodeled and very clean. Easy check in and check out. And very easy to communicate with property owner. HIGHLY recommend this home. We’d stay here again!

Perfect location

David was a great host and very responsive to our queries. The house was big enough for 6 adults and 3 kids. Very clean with all essential supplies in the kitchen to bathroom. Relaxing back yard and sun room. It was literally a 7 min walk to the beach. This was away from the boardwalk which was perfect !!! Would love to go back next year to the same property.

Our vacation

It was easy to rent the property,very nice place to stay.Price was a bit high and paying for coverage for any damage.Someone before us must of had an animal staying that had stained the love seat.The home is located at nice spot and back yard that is on the water.

Great location, below average amenities

Writing this review based on past experiences staying at other locations; the property it self was not cleaned properly, the entire house was full of sands. We normally don't wear shoes inside the house for hygienic purposes. In this case we were bound to wear shoes around the house. Though I paid a hefty amount for cleaning fees, I acquired a dirty house. The check out process was not clear. The owners at other properties usually ask for starting the dishwasher, but in this case this owner also asked to start the laundry and vacuum the the floor, but we couldn't do it since we couldn't locate the laundry detergent and the vacuum cleaner. I communicated this to the owner, and the owner assured that they will edit their check-out instructions. the bathrooms had no amenities besides toilet paper, did not expect this from this property from the price perspective. the outdoor grill was extremely dirty. The kitchen was not equipped with some basic things like ketchup and other everyday used condiments. We lost internet on the second night, the owner contacted me with how to reset the breaker, but did not help the cause. the owner notified that this has been an issue before. The Good part: the property is very spacious, very well decorated with lots of TVs, lots of board game, an arcade, and even a corn hole set. The backyard is very nice, the location is very nice, close to the beach and the neighborhood is very quiet. Not good for party people, which is a huge plus. If the certain concerns I have about the cleanliness and the amenities are updated, I would stay here again for sure.

Relaxing stay with family

We had 5 adults and 4 children under 10 years old stay at the property for a long weekend. Everybody had a great time. The property is a 10 minute walk (or quicker if you don’t have 4 kids in tow ;) ) to the beach. The property was clean and had everything we needed. The kids loved the arcade and board games. My dad loved the hammock in the backyard. I really enjoyed it being close to restaurants, drugstore, and the beach. I will recommend this place to my family and friends.

A relaxing stay away from the boardwalk!

Overall, we had a lovely stay at the home in the quieter part of Ocean City away from the boardwalk, which is exactly what we wanted. The cleaning crew did an excellent job before our arrival, the house is exactly as it appears in the photos, and the location is great for walking to public access to the beach and some restaurants. We were just a family of three (one child), but it certainly would be very comfortable for larger groups and those with more kids. There is plenty of communal space in the living room, dining area, and the three season room (including its arcade games!). The house is stocked with paper towels, TP, and dish/laundry soaps. We did notice a couple things when we arrived at the home, but the owner, David, was super responsive in communicating what he would do to remedy the issues. He was honest and open, which I appreciated. The only issue with any impact on our stay was having ants in the kitchen from the window above the counter due to the flower box outside, so we didn't really have a chance to use the kitchen other than storing everything in the fridge and making coffee in the morning (from the stock of K-cups available!). However, David responded right away and also checked in about the issue via the Vrbo app during our stay. I certainly would stay here again - David was a responsive, honest host and the home is lovely with a great location.

Weekend Getaway With Friends

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We had a chance to meet the owner prior to check-in and he was very pleasant and willing to help. He let my BF have his surfboard delivered to the property, and even put it in the sunroom for us, which was extremely generous and helpful. The space and grounds was absolutely perfect. Well-equipped, maintained and had everything we needed. The arcade barrel in the sunroom was the icing on the cake for me. I love playing Ms. Pac Man! lol Property was spacious enough to hold all 5 of us and we had more than enough space. Wish we had more time there so we could have spent more time in the backyard. Went out there a few times and it was peaceful and overlooked the canal. We will definitely stay here again and look forward to our next visit.

Stayed here Thursday - Sunday in July. Overall it is a nice place with a good layout between living room, dining room, sunroom and deck. We had a minor issue arise and David quickly had it resolved. Would recommend to any small groups and families.

Can’t wait to stay again

This was the perfect place! We loved the location and the house is spacious and comfortable for sure. We brought our own paper products but we shouldn’t have because the house was very well stocked. I would absolutely recommend this house. The owner was very responsive and communicated well. Thank you for the awesome vacation!

Fun filled place

We had a great time. First time stay in ocean city, everything is near by. I would recommend this place.
