We’ve stayed in this development before and love the amenities, particularly the tennis and pickleball courts! Our host was very responsive and accommodating—Aylen’s Escape had everything we needed! I would suggest storing the outdoor cushions somewhere that will keep them dry—we couldn’t really use the porch and wanted to, and we couldn’t figure out how to get the stringed lights to work. We would have loved to spend more time in that space. Otherwise, our stay was enjoyable and we would definitely rent again!

Wonderful neighborhood, clubhouse, and short drive to beaches

We loved our week in Bayside at Bethany Lakes. Very walkable community with ponds, fountains, dog friendly walkways, sunset deck, and clubhouse. We loved the outdoor pool in the evening especially because it overlooked the bay at sunset We also had fun using the pickleball courts and game room. The house was roomy for our three families. Plenty of bathrooms, big dining table for us all, and a cute screened in porch for morning coffee time. This house is just a few minutes drive to Bethany Beach and under 10 minutes to Fenwick island state Park which we enjoyed a few times as well. The owner has thought of everything: dog bowls, box fans for warm nights, garbage bags, dishwasher tabs, coffee filters, hand soap, etc. And owner is responsive as well and checks in during your stay. We would definitely stay again at Aylen's place!

Great vacation home!

This house was perfect for our family! Lots of space to spread out in. Location was great and the clubhouse amenities were a plus. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Great communication from the host. And of course it was wonderful that we could bring our dog. We will be back!

Spacious, well equipped home

I did a lot of cooking and this kitchen had everything I needed. Lots of seating for two families and plenty of room to spread out. The layout is particularly good if you are trying to get away from 'kid noise' as there are many little nooks and crannies to grab a book and escape to. The furniture is very comfortable and the bedrooms are roomy. The screened-in porch is a nice place for people to run off to and be on their own.

Family vacation

It was about 1 1/2 miles from Bethany Beach. The clubhouse was very nice for the whole family to use. It was very spacious and had plenty room for the whole family to spread out and it was 12 of us. The owner responded in a timely manner with any questions and concerns.

Perfect Family holiday

The property is more beautiful than the online description. It has everything a family needs, the kitchen is well stocked and enjoyable to cook in - additionally, the house, rooms and bathrooms are spacious and the beds are super comfortable. The property is around the corner from a grocery story and is 5 minutes ride to the center of Bethany and the beach. We had an amazing vacation!

Family Friendly Escape

Lovely, large, well appointed home, close driving distance to everything. Community is quiet, with plenty of walking routes, a club house with many amenities including an indoor and outdoor pool for when you need a break from the beach. The house has large TVs and very comfy couches. No cable, so bring your subscription passwords : ) Chris is very responsive and helpful with any questions. Overall, a very lovely home that we would visit again.

Perfect

Outstanding rental. Positives include - - Fantastic space. Tons of room. Well appointed and decorated. Very, very comfortable. - Amenities galore. The unit itself (smart tvs, more than ample kitchen, beach supplies in the garage…. And lots more). Plus the community amenities. The clubhouse is awesome (two pools, hot tub, game room, fitness room), and we used it every day. - Beach access. We were six minutes from everything, including the 5th St Beach, which was our favorite. - Dog friendly. This was huge for us, as we really wanted to bring Charlie. He loved it, too. - Hosts. Chris was extremely responsive and nice. We will be back!!

Second stay was great too!

The highlight of our July stay was the pool with its amazing views of the bay. House was clean and super comfortable for two families and our dogs. Communication with owner was great. We loved it, again.

AMAZING stay

We did not expect this place to be so big and so comfortable. We had literally everything we needed to have a comfortable vacation. The pool was close by along with a 2 game rooms and a gym. We were down the street from Bethany and Indian River beach, where we go every summer. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Don’t get me started on the jacuzzi in the master bedroom! Thanks again for the amazing vacation!!!

All in all a wonderful trip

Our entire multigenerational family had a wonderful time at this property. The house was very clean, exactly as pictured, and well-appointed with everything we needed. The clubhouse amenities are fantastic, and Chris could not have been a more responsive and gracious host. We would not hesitate to come back!

Relaxing Stay & Minutes Away

Chris was a great host and very easy to communicate with. He allowed us to check in early and worked to get the property ready for us. He addressed any issues that came up such as a faulty toilet and sent someone to repair the issue. The property is near to many amenities and you have choice of beaches to go to. It’s not far from Bethany beach and boardwalk. The clubhouse amenities were great for families with kids. Overall great stay.
