“This is such a special place, we will hopefully be back again in the future. Perfectly tucked away in the hills of Carmel Valley, once you're there, it feels like you could be somewhere very remote for how peaceful it is. But it's very accessible to the goings on in other parts of Carmel Valley or even going out to Carmel-by-the-Sea, Point Lobos, Monterey, etc. If we could have stayed a month, just watching the hummingbirds and listening to the windchimes, we would in a heartbeat. “Where should I start! We booked for three weeks and we only received one set of towels. Really! The bottom sheet on the bed was the wrong size or depth and we ended up sleeping on the plastic mattress cover. I went out and bought a set of sheets! We have family in the area So we borrowed towels from them. The drain in the shower got clogged and the owner asked us to clean it out. Apparently it must happen all the time and he has done nothing to correct the problem. The draw that the silverware...
