“The room was very clean and looked to be remodeled. The location was perfect. The bed was very comfortable. Nice sitting area outside to listen to birds and talk.”

“Absolutely wonderful! Was perfect for everyone in the family, from fishing to the hot tub the front swing. There was always geese and deer in the yard, we didn’t’t have to worry about neighbors or noise, very peaceful and perfect! If we are ever down that way again we will 100% stay there again! The host is so nice and caring will come over if you need anything.”

“Everything was smooth and simple! Will definitely stay there again in the future!”

“The property was quaint and made for a good jump point for our daily excursions. We did experience a bit of an inconvenience the a/c had went out day of, the owners put a window unit and fans in the home and gave us option for a refund. All the accommodations were satisfactory and the house was pretty clean, the back deck and outdoor seating area could use some attention, tall weeds and debris didnt make for a...

“This property was so precious and charming! Amazing location for this small town and in a quiet neighborhood. Plenty of space for our party of four and was so nice to have a kitchen to ourselves to prep for our excursions. One thing to note is the shower/bath is a clawfoot tub. If you have elderly or handicap individuals in your party, which we did, this may be something to consider. Host was very helpful and very quick to respond. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Mena!”

“This was a very neat cozy little house. It was very well maintained and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, microwave and an air fryer. The bathroom was clean and well maintained as was the laundry room. The property also has easy access to the main road. We would highly recommend staying at Retro Rest. If we need to book another stay in Mena it would be our first choice.”
