“The room was perfect size for 2 people. It was homey feeling and did not have to pay for parking. It was 20ish minutes from everything we wanted to do. The bed was still wet when we got there and reeked of bleach. It seeped through one of my shirts and destroyed it. We had to sleep on the couch the first night. The owner still had laundry down stairs and said he would come in later to get it after we checked in. We waited till he got it to do anything. The door to their house is only lockable...

“Easy check in, snacks and water were a nice touch and much appreciated. This was my first experience with VRBO or any other platform like it. The house was pretty clean overall and the electric fireplace was great given that the first night was in the low 20s. Good communication from the owner as the refrigerator/freezer wasn’t on when I arrived and the freezer had defrosted. For my 2 night stay there was only one wash cloth and no hand towel. I didn’t spend more time than sleeping and getting...

“Mostly as described. Does have some old building issues - narrow hallways, small main bathroom, slanted floors, damp/humid. Queen bed is in room against the road, which doesn’t have the en suite bathroom, and can be a little noisy at night. Overall, great location, pet friendly in a dog friendly neighborhood, attentive host with easy check-in/out, even left some snacks, coffee, etc.”

“Very clean home in a lovely, safe neighborhood with a neighborhood playground on the same street. Sidewalks on both sides of the street and a fenced yard, plus a supply of toys and children's books made this a great place to stay for children that have just endured the discomforts of travel. I appreciate that there was a decent supply of cutlery and table settings as it was truly a comfortable stay for a large family or group. ”
