“The property was exactly as described with more than enough supplies and a well appointed kitchen. They're were loads of games, both indoor and outside, to enjoy. The neighborhood is safe and adorable and convenient to everything. Our pets were welcomed and had a lovely little backyard to enjoy. The host was spectacular. Every question was addressed promptly and kindly. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. ”

“The home itself was well appointed and comfortable. The mattresses could use updating. It was like sleeping in a water bed. The whole place has a hint of the smell of weed. Not surprising considering the neighbors. Not a huge issue especially if you are into that sort of thing. The host was very communicative. There were LOTS of extra things to do like additional contracts and ID verification outside of the VRBO. It was annoying but not surprising or a huge deal. ”

The location is very convenient—about 10 minutes from the airport and major shopping areas, and roughly 15 minutes from the UAB campus. There are two designated parking spaces a few steps away from the front door, which helped me feel safe when coming and going after dark.The unit is in a quiet, refurbished townhouse community away from downtown, which made it a calm place to decompress...

“The pictures do not match reality. Home was dirty and smelled of smoke. Home was also very small for 10 people. We did not stay, too many issues to list all of them. I asked for a full refund and we were offered a partial refund; still working on this... I believe the photos are enhanced with AI to make the home look freshly painted and clean. Stove/oven was greasy and black (picture shows a white oven), walls and floors dirty. Random stuff laying around, including trash, broken eye glasses...
