“The listing and photos made this appear to be a studio apartment, and I understood Motel 6 would simply be handling the check-in and key service. In reality, the lodging was a room in a 50+ year-old Motel 6 property that appeared to be well into decline. It was the worst lodging we experienced during our three-week trip. “Good location. Nice pool and work out area. Hosts are helpful and responsive. However the neighbors are dirty and we had to smell dog poop from our porch and walking in and out of our apartment. Not worth the price in my opinion. Probably should charge about 60 or 70 less per night. I wouldn’t return.”

“We loved this unique and quirky little place and wish we could’ve stayed longer. The sunset and stars and the windmill from the viewing deck were the cherry on top. We will be back next time we travel to Big Bend!”

“The host was very welcoming in their communication, before, during and after our stay. Property was clean, decorated nicely, and the neighborhood was very quiet. Had a nice little backyard, if you brought a pet along. I would absolutely book again.”
