However, when you arrive, you will find a hotel situated meters from big and dirty industry, all premises deeply polluted by iron ore dust. The red dust is everywhere, red stuff running down from the roofs. And you can feel the smell of ore in the air at all times. No family should be staying in such conditions. And no kids should be playing on such polluted beaches. We left...

“Lovely property in a prime position just a few minutes walk to the beach. Rooms (superior) very comfortable and clean, staff were lovely and attentive. Food in the restaurant was excellent, but the service was slow. We pre ordered our breakfast on the day we left as we needed to get on the road as it was a long journey, that worked out well. The waterfront just up the road is worth a visit. Would recommend.”

“Second time we stayed at Gonana, right on the beach. Nice firm bed, hot breakfast. Would be nice to have a small fridge in the bedroom to keep water cool on the hot day. Anytime self service upstairs at the breakfast/ lunch area. Definitely, we will be back”
