NOT YOUR TYPICAL SCOTTISH INN
First of all, I normally would not stay at a Scottish Inn, bu the ratings and reviews caught my attention and I am glad they did. Rooms were extremely well updated with large tiled showers and walls, tiled floors throughout, comfortable bedding. Our minisuite was $10 extra and highly recommended upgrade with kitchen and dining area. Super clean property and host owner Dave was very helpful and accommadating. Has old school exterior with orange tile roof with hidden jewel interior.

Nicely renovated property, VERY clean, friendly staff. We travel for work, this was perfect for us. We pulled right up to the door to unload our gear. (No wonky carts or elevators) There were plenty of outlets for charging our equipment and a larger than average refrigerator so our drinks were cold for the next days fieldwork. Internet was strong for downloading the days data. That said, I would stay here when I travel for pleasure. Great location and a cute room with a great mattress. It’s got the old school Florida vibe, with all the modern day conveniences.

High quality little motel
Very clean hotel which looks like its undergone a High quality remodel recently. Nice amenities in room including separate freezer for ice blocks which many hotels dont have.

Liked the friendly and respectful staff. Liked that it was recently remodeled and everything was new-looking. We would have liked it even more if the room rate had been slightly lower, since they did not have breakfast on site.

I stay here every time I am in Okeechobee. Staff is very nice, rooms are clean and you can't beat the price.

Nice clean little chill spot
Nice clean little place that is by a lot of places. Friendly staff. The room was clean with AC also had coffee. Biggest takeaway was that unique sink in the bathroom.

Would stay here everywhere I travel.
This was by far one of the easiest, clean, and most comfortable of the hotels I have stayed in. It is one of the older 70's style "L" shaped single story motels. But unlike most, this one was impeccably clean and in good repair. The great advantage to these style of motels is the ability to park right outside your door. A single queen room still had a table, chairs, refrigerator, and a desk.

Convenient, clean and friendly
This was on the main road, but very quiet. Typical mom & pop looking, but the room was upgraded and very nice. Comfortable bed, great shower.

Owner very nice and helpful. Pointed out places to eat, different atmospheres while dining. Rooms very clean, smelled fresh. Exactly what a couple of bikers wanted in a place to lay your head.

Great little hotel.
This is a wonderful CLEAN hotel. Not fancy and a little mishmash. But, everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and very quiet. Aged but spotless. Beds was comfortable. Felt very safe in the area. Had a very good night's sleep.

Quite possibly the cleanest motel room I’ve ever encountered. Comfortable king bed. Great oversized “rain” head, in shower. Plenty of furniture to configure for dining, watching the crystal clear LED TV or just relaxing and enjoying the evening breeze as it works its way from the open front to rear windows. Located conveniently to all Okeechobee has to offer. A pleasant respite from the crazy pace of either coast. Very friendly and accommodating owner/operator. Excellent value. Would have stayed longer if my schedule allowed. Definitely will return when back in south central Florida.

Thank you for the feedback. During high season, rates for hotels are generally high in Florida. Our rates were very competitive therefore you booked with us instead with other midscale hotels that were charging twice our rate during event week. We even showed you the room before you rented it as per your request and you mentioned the room was fine and you decided to rent the room. We always try to offer a clean room for a competitive price.

Pleasant Okeechobee motel
Its an old motel. I was mislead by a pic of a kitchen with full refrigerator & stove. Thats my fault. Once i got past my expectations for a kitchen, i had no complaints. They have done a lot to upgrade with tile shower, crown molding, very comfy mattress. The small refrigerator had 2 separate doors for a separate freezer compartment, which appeals to me for keeping my ice cream cold. The owner or manager was very friendly & helpful at checkin & check out. I selected this hotel bc it was a halfway stop on my way to miami. It was the cheapest for the entire central Florida region. It was clean & well maintained. I will return & would recommend.

Excellent!
Very clean with lots of floor space in my Queen-bed room. Very friendly manager and staff. I’d definitely choose the same motel again when overnighting in Okeechobee.
