“It was all very good, we asked for a chair for the room and got one straight away. Towels were changed every day and it was all very clean. All staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, plenty to eat, all served fresh. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Waterfront Inn, the only thing I will mention is that we thought we were staying in Bideford, not realising the Hotel was in Westward Ho but it wasn't a problem.”

“I stayed overnight whilst on a business trip. Room was really good with all of the amenities that I needed. Friendly staff were very helpful. Food was excellent, both evening meal and breakfast. Good atmosphere at night and in a good setting. If you usually use a budget hotel chain, try this place instead. Excellent value and I will definitely use again if I need a stopover in that area.”

“Stopped here overnight whilst walking the South West Coast Path. Very clean and comfortable room with everything I needed after 16 miles of walking and ahead of 20 miles the next day! Lovely period hotel, fabulous sash windows, high ceiling, warm and cosy room, really nice feel to the place. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. Extensive breakfast menu, all cooked to order. I had a delicious vegetarian breakfast. Would highly recommend. ”

After a very stressful 15 minutes and a good number of phone calls both to the landline and the mobile numbers, the hostess appeared in her gown. “Hotel was well situated in the heart of the village, easy to locate with plenty of onsite parking. Next door to a great pub with good food. Room was very clean and tidy with a sea view. Breakfast was really good. Very friendly place, would definitely stay again if in the area. ”

The room was warm and welcoming with a good en suite bathroom. The breakfast menu was excellent, and the staff friendly and efficient. We would certainly recommend it to our friends.”
