“This was a great place to stay while we rode the snowmobiles. Plenty of parking for the trucks and trailers, right on the trail, and the house was spacious and clean. ”

“We stayed here strictly for snowmobiling with 4 guys who didn’t care much about amenities, the house was located close to the trails without trailering, driveway had a good spot for the truck and trailer. Easy driving distance to boondocks and local stores and gas stations.”

“The access to the lake was deceiving. The path was overgrown and a couple of us fell on the way down. We drove the car around to leave. There wasn't really a path. it needs to be cleared out.”

“Perfect beautiful place for my husband and I with our King Charles Cavalier Spaniel Maggie. Wi-Fi was on and off, required resetting a couple of times. But, we loved the peace and quiet. Was perfect for exploring trails in the area. Moss Lake Trailhead was our favorite. Perfect between Old Forge and Inlet. It was across the road and a little walk from Big Moose Lake and the pic of the gazebo. and the gazebo and docks need some repair. Construction occurring and we just kept away from the area....

“The only thing better than the cabin, location and amenities was JP's kindness and hospitality. We visited at the very end of the season - just in time for snow and freezing temps. JP made sure that we were familiarized with the island, and comfortable every step of the way. Our dogs LOVED having the freedom to explore the island without being on a leash. The electric boat was an added bonus to get to the mainland to do some hiking. JP even sent us a blog he wrote about the best nearby hiking...
