  • Villa Avalon is a well appointed luxurious and rare ocean front property.

    All bedrooms boast a comfortable King size bed and private ensuite bathroom.

    The kitchen is well equipped with everything you will need - including cookware, bakeware, dishes, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, gas cooktop, wall oven, and dishwasher.

    The main living is outdoors in this villa, with 180 degree ocean view as you lounge, dine or sunbathe. Enjoy beach and mountain view from the main patio and breathtaking mountain and volcano views from the lookout.

    You will feel like you are swimming in the ocean - without the waves - as you bathe in the private swimming pool with infinity view to the ocean.

    This villa offers ocean front living at it's best.

    Linens are included and there is a laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer. There is also an Iron and ironing board available.

    Walking distance to beach ( 5 min ). Walking distance to View Point Restaurant (less than 3 minutes). Walking distance to grocery (15 minutes/less than 5 minutes drive). Driving distance to shopping (10-25 minutes). Driving distance to airport (less than 30 minutes).

    We help you arrange for car rental /pick up from airport on arrival - please inquire if needed. We also arrange dinner on arrival and basic food stocking services. Our goal is to make your stay at Avalon your most memorable and enjoyable stay on Montserrat, or anywhere for that matter. If there is anything we can do to make your stay even more memorable, please let us know.

    There is a minimum 7 night stay December to March and 4 nights minimum stay April to November.

    Please note: Bedrooms are opened based on reservation requirements. We discount the nightly rate for couples and guests only requiring 1 bedroom as this is most of our guests. In order to serve you best, and to ensure your needs are met, please be sure to indicate the actual number of guests staying at the villa. You must select a minimum of 3 guests if you need access to 2 bedrooms and a minimum of 4 guests if you need access to all three bedrooms for your stay.

It was a wonderful stay. We went about and had a fun time all over the island, seeing places, connecting and reconnecting with people. But coming back to the property every time was beyond beautiful and totally relaxing. The pool and the amazing view washed up my tired day and prepared me for relaxing nights. Thank you Marie for your assistance when was needed. You were great!

No worries

We are always looking for peace and quiet. We found it here. Locals were friendly. Food was delicious. But the best of the best was the truly beautiful home perched cliffside. Tradewinds and waves crashing providing the perfect sleeping experience. Thanks you so much for a wonderful time.

Amazing villa

The villa was amazing! One of the best I've stayed in - the views were stunning! Perfect view of the sunset and a beautiful back drop of the ocean. Rest of the villa was very spacious and had everything we needed and more. The owner (Marie-Josee) was very attentive - she made sure we had a hot meal on arrival, a driver (Milton) who looked after us and made tbe trip memorable. Highly recommend and will 100% be coming back to when next in Montserrat

Paradise on the edge

WOW...not many places have that amazing WOW factor, but Avalon delivered on every aspect. Stayed with 2 friends, and the accommodation was just perfect with three double on suite rooms. The pool and shared area was stunning. Well equipped kitchen and great gas BBQ, which we used several times. Communication was brilliant and place looks just like photos. And then there is Montserrat, what a place, beaches to ourselves, tour of Plymouth was amazing and kayaking was a highlight. Thank you for a truly amazing stay.

Better than Pictures

The pictures don’t do the view and overall living space justice. The views are amazing along with the outdoor living area. We spent 95% of our time outside enjoying the sun, pool and amazing sunsets. Plenty of breeze to keep you cool at night. At night the star gazing is second to none. Great location to anything and everything. Marie was always happy to answer questions and provide information. Very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend Avalon Villa!! We plan to return 2026!!

If you love Outdoor Living, this is the place for you

From the time we arrived at the airport, our driver Milton was on time and gave us a running commentary of the island. We arrived at Avalon and found a scrumptious fish meal waiting in the oven.. The villa was extremely well equipped. Every room had multiple windows and continuous breezes eliminated the need for an AC. The biggest down side was the internet service which reflected on the island infrastructure rather than the villa. The greenery on the porch was fantastic, as was all the furnishing. Whether you wanted a lunch on dinner on the porch, or an afternoon siesta, there were couches, tables, chaise-lounges and chairs for your every desire. Unfortunately, because the weather was a bit cool, we could not enjoy the pool as much as we would have liked - I guess that is what you get mid March. Generally my husband, my daughter and I had a very enjoyable stay at Avalon - and we highly recommend it.

Amazing property, a couple kinks

The property itself is amazing. The three bedrooms all have on suites and are all very private. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with cooking gear. The outdoor living area with the couch, the TV, the pool, is perfect, the pictures do not do it justice. The local iguanas that live on the property are very cool.Getting to the property on the first night was super easy, Thomas picked us up at the airport, took us to the best grocery store on the island to get some stuff, and then drove us to the property where our rental car was waiting. One small quirk, a fish dinner is advertised to be there waiting for you, we were surprised to see that it was instead jerk chicken. My aunt and I liked it, but my mom does not eat dark meat chicken, so the flip from fish to chicken was a disappointment.We stayed for 2 weeks and a cleaner was supposed to come by and do basic cleaning once on the Thursday one week after we arrived. The cleaner never showed up, so we were left to do the bedding laundry ourselves.We also lost hot water as the hot water on demand heater failed. We were left with cold showers and cold water to do the dishes. There was a replacement hot water heater on site, but a natural gas unit was ordered instead of propane, so we went with no hot water for the last 10 days or so of the trip.Other than those things though, as mentioned the property is amazing, the appliances work well, the pool is extremely well maintained.

One of the very best of villas on Montserrat.

From the moment you arrive at the front gate you realize this might be something special. When you open the front door and glimpse the terrace it gets better. You immediately step out onto the terrace to see the ocean and beautiful coastline of Montserrat bathed in the golden light of sunset and it is just WOW. My wife and I have been to Montserrat each of the last five years. This past trip was special since our family was joining us for Christmas and New Year. We wanted to make their stay as memorable as possible. We stayed at Avalon once before and knew it was the one. Avalon exceeded our expectations. The villa is clean and well furnished. The large terrace features a covered space for living and dining and an outdoor space with pool and lounge chairs. The terrace has a breathtaking view of Isles Bay beach and Foxes Bay beach in the distance. It also provides a panoramic ocean view including sunsets every night. The kitchen is steps away and is very well equipped. The villa has three ensuite bedrooms arranged separately for privacy. In addition to the wonderful terrace, the villa has a lookout deck at the cliff edge. This a popular spot for sunsets, sundowners and watching the pelicans. The villa is well managed by experienced hosts. The housekeeping was above and beyond. And in this regard, a special thanks to Andrea for taking such good care of us. Montserrat and the villa Avalon have a special place in our hearts. If you decide to stay at Avalon, we sincerely hope you have a wonderful time.

Outstanding on all levels

If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing, well-maintained home with a 5-star view to spend your time on Montserrat then look no further. We stayed at Avalon for 2 weeks in September/October 2022 and we could not have been happier. The communications with the home's owner, MJ, was great and we were provided all of the information we needed to get settled in. Typically, one of the difficult parts of vacationing to remote locations is where to eat and get a cocktail after traveling all day. Apparently this is something that the owners have encountered themselves as they offer refrigerator stocking pre-arrival, and a warm meal waiting for you upon arrival. That was an awesome surprise!. Once you have your arrival meal (prepared by Andrea's Take-Away), you will not be able to wait to get back there for more delicious food. What can you say about the home other than gorgeous! We have traveled to many Caribbean locations and the views from your private patio at Avalon beat them all. If you are like us, you will spend 99% of your time between the pool and the covered patio, only retreating inside to sleep. The patio has a 180 degree view of the ocean and views South to Isle Bay Beach and Fox’s Bay Beach. Step out the front door and you have a perfectly framed view of the Soufrière Hills volcano While we cannot speak for two of the bedrooms as it was just two of us, we can say that our bed was extremely clean and comfortable and the room had everything you needed, including an awesome breeze at night. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need for your stay. The appliances have all been upgraded recently and it was all in perfect working order. We used the washer and dryer, which is adjacent to the garage, a few times during our stay and they worked great as well. The property is well maintained and even though it is located on the ocean, there were no signs of rust that is typically found on oceanfront homes. The pool was cleaned and treated several times during our stay and the home is thoroughly cleaned at least once a week. We cannot say enough about the location, the home itself, the homeowner, or the amazing people of Montserrat. The island has totally captivated us. We will definitely be returning and we hope that Avalon is available when we do.
