Owl - Cabin at Sunset Bay

  • WE ARE PET FRIENDLY AND WE DO CHARGE A SMALL PET FEE. PLEASE ADD YOUR PET TO YOUR RESERVATION. First bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has a single over double bunk bed.

    Bathroom has toilet, sink, tub and shower.

    Kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, etc., and has a fridge, stovetop and oven.

    There is also a BBQ and propane, picnic table, chairs, fire pit, hot dog sticks and firewood.

    No smoking inside the cabin.

    Friendly, quiet dogs are welcome!
    However if your dog has any issues with cats, we kindly ask that you do not bring them along.

    Guests will be provided with bed linens and bath towels but please bring your own beach towels.

    We have 7km of walking trails on site.


    Our lake is shallow for a long way out, so it’s not the best for swimming. And our lake doesn’t have any fish, but there are many lakes within a 20 minute drive that are good fishing. Just ask and we’ll point you in the right direction!

    Guided fishing by boat is also available. If you’re interested please inquire prior to arrival.

I love this place, its quiet, people are friendly, lots to do and close to the park. The lake is close if you want to canoe, paddle board or kayak. The hosts are great and accommodating.

A getaway close to hikes

Perfect little place near Riding Mountain. Super clean. Sauna was amazing. Not as secluded as I hoped for an anniversary getaway but perfect for a place to crash after hiking all day!

Great place

The place was great for our family. We were happy that we could bring our Labrador along. The green space and fire pit area was spacious. The property owners were very helpful. Location was convenient. We'd stay here again.

Lovely little cabin

Quiet location, minutes from the park. Amazing sunsets. The cabin was clean and equipped with the basics for our 5 day stay. Andrea was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again, or try one of the RV rentals too.

Had a great time

Booked the Owl cabin for a short spring break getaway. Everything was as advertised. Cabin was comfortable and cozy. Very close to the park and we were able to get out and enjoy the (unseasonably) cool weather! Thanks for having us, we would stay again.

Quiet and cozy

The cabin was very clean and the host met us personally when we arrived. You can see the pride of ownership. This cabin has everything listed and all you need for a trip. It is a small commute to the National park and golf course. Perfect place to stay with family.

Only stayed overnight but want to return for longer stay.

It was a very peaceful and relaxing time even though it was short. Hope to return next year for a longer time. Very convenient drive to Clear Lake and surrounding area.

Great winter stay

We came for a winter getaway to enjoy the outdoors with our dog. We had the most pleasant stay, and the sauna was a wonderful touch! Better yet, our dog had a friendly playmate when we were at the accommodations. Would recommend, especially if you have a pet!

A pleasant surprised

After a four-day stay, we were very happy with the overall experience. The owners are friendly and always available when we needed to ask something. The cabin was very clean and well-maintained. I would definitely go back and recommend this place. If you love nature, you will love it.
