“Very good staff, excellent safe parking for my motorbike. Food excellent and decent price, I don’t usually go for set meals but it worked for me. Beer is spot on ales. Butty Bach is served well. My ONLY gripe was that the room was 36deg because no one had bothered to open windows and ventilate it. The whole night it only dropped to 27deg with all windows open. Otherwise I would have given it more stars. Also the ‘continental’ breakfast is basically toast and cereals, no fresh coffee. ”

There is an elegant bar and restaurant where the food and drink was delicious. They have a great entertaining space outdoors where you can have a party or entertain a group. We had a fun and relaxing stay and would happily return.”

“Estuvimos en 2 habitaciones, ambas tenían el baño nuevo lo que se agradece un montón. Las camas individuales no estaban mal, pero el colchón de la cama de matrimonio era tan viejo y blando que nos levantamos con las espaldas echas polvo. Los domingos noche no sirven cena. No hay ascensor, hay que subir las maletas a peso y queda apartado del pueblo de Ludlow con lo que únicamente se puede acceder con el coche. No estuvimos mal, pero para otra ocasión intentaríamos buscar otro hotel.”

“Really nice pub, convenient for Ludlow and the Shropshire Hills. Winter weekend break for us, nice big clean quiet room, comfy bed, plenty of space and large bathroom. All the staff very friendly and efficient, had a nice meal there - steak well cooked - and the breakfast was tasty, good quality ingredients and served quickly and with a smile. The bar area was nice, log fire burning and lots of locals in there. One negative was the water temp in the shower - I imagine as it’s an old...

“The hotel is in an old building. The floors are uneven and very creaky to be expected. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom wet tired.
