“When we arrived, there was dog pee on the floor, dog hair everywhere. Wasn’t clean, bathroom sink was dripping while using the toilet the leaking sink would splash you in the face. Black mold in the bathroom, our guests couldn’t even fit in the shower. No towels ready, activities weren’t working, flat tires, no batteries, outside fire pit/seating area was unusable. Completely disappointed, we were told absolutely no refunds. We stayed two nights and had to leave early. We had two small children...

“The apartment itself is clean. Both bathrooms are small, minimal. The towels in the bathrooms are worn/cheap and smelt bad. We had to wash them before using. (That's why I gave the 3 star cleanliness rating.) The mattresses and pillows in all 3 rooms are low-end and hard. The mattress my fiancé and I slept on was sloped to the middle. All floors in the unit are off kilter. On a happier note, there is a view of the bay from the front porch. I'll look for somewhere else to stay when we return.”

“We rented the Mermaid house for a long weekend and loved the view!! Our semi private beach (shared with the other rental) was perfect. The owners dog was the star of the show! He is the cutest guy and got along with the two pups we had in our group. Great communication with Joycelyn and would recommend anyone to stay there. ”

“My 3 sisters and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carolyn’s place. It’s spacious and so conveniently located right across from beautiful Onset Beach. We had a two hour delay getting in to the house, so Carolyn graciously offered to extend our check out time by 2 hours. We loved the village of Onset and enjoyed the local restaurants. Overall, a wonderful experience! ”

“The property is a small cute cottage it in a quiet neighborhood near the water. It is close to restaurants, beach, and shopping areas. Short drive to the ferry, an hour drive to Plymouth, Nauset lighthouse and 3 Sister lighthouses. There were plenty of toiletries and kitchen supplies. One of the two bathroom is very small (can fit a small child). I had to pay $125 extra for my Shih Tzu. Pet fee wasn’t listed on the listing so I suggest you ask questions before booking.
