“Good location”

“My wife and I have had the opportunity to travel extensively. Most of our stays are 3* or 4* occasionally 5*. The Outdoorsman in Wawa Ontario is a 2.5* which shocks me based on my experience. I arrived on Thanksgiving evening after a 10 hour drive hauling a trailer. The front desk staff was delightful and helpful suggesting open restaurants and her rating of each. The parking was prepared in a surprising way, having a number of spots for cars with trailers, RV’s or other longer vehicles. ...

“room was clean and updated, a little tight but comfortable”

“Lake was 300 m away”

“A very convenient location when travelling through northern Ontario. We saw the beautiful Hunter's moon rise directly out the front window, an incredible starry sky in the middle of the night when the puppy needed to go out and an incredible sunrise the next morning. The room was big and very clean and beds /pillows very comfortable. Hot water took forever but it was there and you were given a heads up about the distance to the hotwater tank. “Very clean and comfortable plus free laundry facilities. Full cooking facilities also provided which was useful in a town with no restaurants.”

“It was just an overnight for us on our way home from Calgary, but we found the room to be clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the comfort of sitting on a couch to unwind at the end of a long driving day and the included breakfast set up well for our morning departure. Convenient location made our arrival and morning get-away quick and easy. I'd stay here again..”

“Great Breakfast”

“It was ok , no problems ”

“Hotel con agradable ambiente y decoracion pero el personal es poco amigable, restaurant con buena comida pero mal servicio.”

“I enjoyed my stay very much. The property and rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and seem happy. The blackout curtains in the bedroom were excellent and effective. The continental breakfast is plentiful and the serving staff was outstanding. The server in charge of breakfast was cheerful and helpful, had a kind word for everyone and was cleaning and replenishing throughout. I would definitely stay here again.”
