  • Your relaxing getaway awaits in Salem Al at Griffen Mill Properties. Relax and enjoy the scenery of ride a kayak down the Uchee Creek. Our one bedroom cabins have all the modern amenities and there is a community pavilion with a grill, tables and chairs for guests and is available for events upon approval. We have two other cabins onsite if more is needed.(check availability) just 16 miles from the AU Campus and 18 miles from Phenix City off Hwy 169.

Great place to stay. Peaceful riverfront porch. Inside was spacious. Easy to find and get in even in the dark. Convenient to Auburn on a football weekend. Would definitely stay again.

We came down for my son’s graduation at Auburn. It was a nice, pleasant drive between Auburn and this property, and we couldn’t have found a more peaceful retreat! I would highly recommend this property for a visit to AU or a nature getaway. We will come again!

Beautiful and peaceful

We loved our stay. The host was superb. The home was clean and our favorite part was drinking coffee on our porch while watching the river flow.

Great trip and getaway

Super secluded and great spot, very scenic! Robert was extremely kind and accommodating. Overall, could not get better for a weekend away.

Robert and Griffin Mill is such a peaceful, clean, and spacious place to stay just 20 minutes from Auburn. It’s our second year back and we all agreed the creek views, all the extra space, and how quiet and picturesque the location is we will be back again! You won’t be disappointed in this Vrbo it’s a special one.

The host was very welcoming! Cabin is beautiful with an amazing scenic view! Recommend sleeping with window open if weather allows to hear the water flowing over the rocks from below! Pet friendly and our pups loved walking the property. Cabin is very clean and super cute! Very close to Auburn University and the drive to town is just as beautiful. We will be back!

Really perfect- great location, beautiful piece of land. The addition of a toaster and more dishwasher tabs (there was only one) would add to this. But we had a really great time!

The stay here was great very relaxing and stress free. The scenery was the best and sitting on porch listening to the water early morning and into the evening. Will and have told many people about this place. Will definitely be coming back when we come back down from Ohio!!!

Wonderful

We booked all three of thesee cabins for our family to stay for our sons wedding to be close to the venue. The cabins were perfect to give us all the individual space with the pavillon to gather together. Robert was so nice and accommmodating to make our stay even more enjoyable. The views of the property were so peaceful and beautiful. I would highly reccomend this property.

Beautiful spot in the Alabama countryside. Great view of the bustling creek from the deck. Easy check-in / check-out and the cabin was equipped with everything we needed. Robert, the host, was very prompt answering our questions and extremely accommodating with our requests. We could not have had a better experience.

Tranquility Place

Robert, thanks for allowing us to stay here!! It was perfect for us!! The property was clean and well maintained. I could sit on the deck all day listening to that beautiful, flowing creek!! It’s a bit from town but well worth it!!
