Beach Getaway

This was our first trip to Orange Beach and it is by far our favorite vacation spot to date. What a perfect condo! It’s roomy, bright and very comfy. The view is absolutely amazing. Access to the beach is quick and easy. The door lock could be a little stubborn at times but it was manageable. The condo is perfectly located close to all kinds of restaurants, shopping and attractions. Definitely want to stay here again next trip to Orange Beach.

Great condo, excellent ocean view. Very spacious

Rental was seamless and everything went smoothly. Only downside I found was the faucet in bathrooms were very low in vessel but overall the bathroom had been remodeled and looked great.

Perfect location

Condo was very nice! Perfect location! Short walk to beach. Condo had everything we needed except for extra throw blankets for lounging in condo after a long day. Beds were comfortable. No elevator wait time. The only downfall was minimal parking. They had 17 spots blocked off where you couldn’t park. But, after the holiday crowd left it wasn’t a problem. Overall, I would definitely stay there again.

Incredible access to the beach. My only critique is that the refrigerator is so close to the wall, the freezer door doesn't open all the way. Don't count on putting anything big in the freezer. Other than that, great stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have no complaints about this property. Our stay was great and relaxing. The property was not overcrowded or loud at night. The location was perfect, close to everything you would want/need. The room was very clean and stocked. We had a family of four which fit perfectly in the condo. Balcony was large. This condo is on the third floor, over the pool, not too low that your privacy is compromised but not too high that your view is compromised. We will definitely keep this property on our list of “will stay again.” The management keeps in touch with you through text which I prefer.

Nice unit with ample space! Would recommend!!

Overall, we had a great experience! The unit was very nice and I would recommend to others. Nice furnishings and ample space. The patio was great and loved that it had lots of seating. I would suggest having a couple extra blankets available for use. The coffee machine was also difficult to use and seemed like it needed to be replaced. We were informed only a couple hours prior to checkin time that construction was being done on other units within the complex. We were offered a Beach villa as an alternate property, which looked very nice, but it was across the road and was not oceanfront/beachfront. We declined due to that reason. Although, the construction was loud at times, we didn’t regret our decision to stay with our original unit at The Palms. Check in was very easy, the elevator was speedy, the unit was conveniently located right across from the elevator, and we were overall very pleased!

Construction vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit itself was fine. It was clean and the view was beautiful. However we were not given any notice that the condos were under construction and the noise was awful. It started exactly at 7:30 and didn't end until 4. It was a concrete drill and it reverberated everywhere. It was two units over and sounded like it was directly above me. I think we should've been told about this, and given some type of compensation for the noise-gift card to restaurant, free chair rental, something. We didn't even get an apology. It would've been nice to have been able to sleep late, and to stay in the condo without getting a headache.

Orange Beach Vacation August 2022

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival, we noticed the condo wasn’t really that clean. I wiped down the entire condo. The kitchen countertops were pretty dirty, with food crumbs behind every appliance. When I wiped them all down, the wipes were very dirty. The freezer door couldn’t be opened all the way, because the wall got in the way. So you couldn’t put anything big in the freezer, like a bag of ice. Someone came in and measured for a new fridge, while we were gone. I received a text about that. I figured they’d check the toilet, but didn’t. My son found either fingernail or toenail clippings on living room rug. There was hair left in bathroom (tub, counter and floor) There weren’t enough wash rags for 4 people, so we were washing towels every day. There was hair stuck in the towels. Random stain on floor by sliding door. Looked like spilled coke. Flickering light bulb in bathroom. REALLY LOUD neighbors upstairs scooting chairs, moving furniture, dropping stuff and stomping really loudly from 6 am to midnight Movement and sounds were extremely loud as if they were happening right in our room. Upstairs neighbors sliding door didn’t work and was extremely loud waking us up, even though we had 2 loud fans going. The Master bathroom toilet was leaking around the base with flushed waste water. I reported that right away. It was never repaired. I had to keep a towel around the base, so the floor wouldn’t get wet with nasty water. So that towel need washing. I had to buy bleach to make sure the towels were sanitized, because of the flushed waste water. It smelled pretty bad too. We also had two pairs of shoes stolen on walkway to beach, on our last night. We did leave the place cleaner than we found it. I would probably stay at this condo again, as long as things were fixed, and someone actually cleaned the place.

Sufficient except for freezer and mattresses

It was what we expected and nicely renovated. However, It’s four stars for us because of two things: 1. The freezer door does not even open halfway, due to a half wall that the refrigerator is against. We have to creatively shove the ice bag and other items through a small crack. It’s inconvenient when packing ice chests for the beach. 2. All mattresses need to be replaced. There is a significant dip in all three, as well as loud squeaking and creaking every time someone rolls over. We spent to majority of our day at the beach and pool, so the condo was what we expected for location. Enough living space to relax for 6 adults and two kids for breakfast and supper. However, the perfect ending would be a mattress in which we would not roll downward toward the crater in the middle waking up the neighbors with the creaking.
