My review in no way reflects on the condo/owners as it was very nice. My disappointment is at VRBO/Vacasa. We paid full price to stay in a condo with a balcony. The day before we were to arrive, I received an email stating that our balcony would be closed through 7/29/22. Our arrival date was set for 7/28/22. I called and spoke with a customer service representative who offered no apologies. I explained that had this been disclosed when I booked, I would not have chosen to stay there. This was apparently not a last minute closure and had been going on for several months. I asked if we would be able to have full use of our balcony after 7/29/22 and was told that work should be completed for the weekend. This did not happen either. Although we utilized the balcony for holding sand toys, etc., we were not able to enjoy it with our children and grandchildren. If I had been informed of this in advance, I could have foregone a balcony on our trip for less money. In addition, I rented the property for my entire family. This condo was said to hold nine adults and was very roomy; however, we were only allowed to purchase one parking pass. That was in no way feasible as nine people cannot fit into one vehicle. This was disappointing as we had three families staying, including infants/toddlers and had to utilize so much of our time making several trips back and forth to various parking lots in order to have access to our vehicles for sightseeing. Again, I loved the inside of our condo, and we were very happy with the cleanliness and set up. The parking and balcony issues would have been better received if Vacasa had been the slightest bit apologetic for them.
