And it all had to do with the condo and management team. Upon arriving, we opened the door to compressors, blowers, and dehumidifiers LOUDLY running in the hall, half bath, and kitchen areas and master bedroom and bath. I checked my email and sure enough, I received, an hour and a half AFTER check in time, an EMAIL, (not a phone call) was made TELLING us to keep the machines running until the 3rd day of our trip! We’re only here for 4 days! I called the management company and the girl was less than concerned, told me it was a maintenance issue and that someone would call me. Never got one call. No apology, no concern, no refund offered (of course), and no recourse. So we tripped over cords and jumped and straddled the machines as best we could for 3 days of our 4 day vacation for which we paid more than $2400. And we’re supposed to somehow sleep through the 8 machines running? Unacceptable. And there’s more—
The property must be having issues with leaking pipes because the patio floor mostly stayed wet and there were puddles. There was no rain. There was also a leak from above because items on the table were soaked and some even had rusty water marks on them and it was not from morning dew. Items on tables and chairs were soaked. New beach towels now with rust spots, ruined. Unclean bathrooms with hair and dust, mattresses with dips supported by phone books under the bed, poor drainage in tub, unusable half bath because blower left in there, parking app had other cars listed
