The house was great. Very clean and well maintained. The air conditioner worked great too, which is always important. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and it was conveniently located by the beach and pool. We would definitely stay there again.

Amazing vacation!

Beautiful home to house our large family vacation. The only drawback was the loudness of the neighbors and neighbors drinking beer/eating food in the pool while our young children were swimming. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Hard to say goodby!

Perfect location! House is absolutely gorgeous! Communication with property management was great and super responsive. Owners thought of everything a family may need during their stay. Our family will definitely be back to this particular beach house.

Family Vacation

This house was perfect for our family. Everything was very clean and the house was well stocked. There were a bunch of beach chairs and all sorts of beach and pool toys. The proximity to the pool and to the beach was great. The kids had a blast, and we all enjoyed our vacation in Orange Beach.

Girls Just Gotta Get Away!

Hadn’t been to Orange Beach area in decades so was so happy to find this great house where six women could hang out in comfort and cleanliness. Rooms spacious, kitchen well equipped and beach chair service when we needed it. It wasn’t ocean view, but was no walk at all to get there. And the pool was right at the bottom of the stairs. I’ve bookmarked this house if we get the chance to get back next fall.

The house, location, amenities, all were perfect for our 5 night stay. Easy walk to beach and pool right outside your door. House was clean and plenty of room for us to spread out. Will definitely stay here again.

Cottages of Romar always a favorite

We have been staying at the cottages for about 7 years. We absolutely love the neighborhood, the pool, ease of access to the beach and amenities. This home exceeded our expectations. The furnishings were perfect. The appliances above standard. Plenty of room for gathering, inside and out. We enjoyed the outdoor grill and eating on the upper deck, where we also caught glimpses of the ocean.

Fantastic Family Vacation at Mauna Loa Cottages of Romar

Absolutely loved Mauna Loa at Cottages of Romar! The house is amazing, pictures on line don't do it justice. Everything we needed was included, lots of toys for the beach, beach chairs, umbrella, and wagon. We enjoyed the lower deck area while grilling, cooked multiple meals in the big kitchen which also had ample space for lots of baby bottles on the counter. Communication with the property manager was immediate. We ran out of gas for the grill and they promptly told us where to pick up a refill across the street and reimbursed us. Beach and pool were both fabulous and location is close to many restaurants. We hope to be back soon.

Beautiful!

This house was amazing! Very clean and had everything you needed. The propane tank for the gas grill was empty but we exchanged it and they refunded us promptly. You over look the pool from the porch and it is a quick walk to the beach. We would stay there again if we decide to go back to Gulf Shores!
