Great cottage!

My wife and I really enjoyed this beach cottage. It was very nice, clean, very well-decorated, and the village pool was a nice addition. The beach was easy to get to, and it was never overcrowded. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect place just across the street from the ocean! Had it’s own traffic light where you can cross

Lovely Unit

Well appointed, modern unit with everything you need included. The unit itself was exceptional, but the cleaning crew could be doing a better job. We slept well, the area is quiet & close to the beach, it was a very relaxing time. I would recommend this place!

Lovely place

Very nice, comfortable, and freshly decorated. One little complaint from me and my guests, the Keurig needs to be upgraded, it malfunctioned and left us going out for coffee in the morning.

We loved this little neighborhood setting. Our daughter made friends with several families over our few days. We had fun eating out and walking on the beach super early. We were sad about Walker Hayes cancelling tho!

Orange Beach

Decided to make a trip for a wedding into a short vacation. Picked this property because it is pet friendly. Loved it. Slept 6 comfortably. 5 minute walk to the beach, short drive to Gulf Shores, and right at all of the Orange Beach venues all while being secluded from the noise and traffic. Plan on going back!

Needed help with an ant investation, called Tuesday, manager said someone would be out that day. Recalled Friday (I leave Saturday) you send someone at 3:45 Friday. Killed 400 to 500 ants on Tuesday, approximately 109 each day until Friday. Threw out 100 worth of food. Second bathroom, shower has no heat.

It was very clean other than the rug in master was very dirty, we did find a water bug the first morning of our stay. I sure could have used a light blanket on the beds. Other than that it was very comfortable!

There were ants on the kitchen counter (had to buy ant killer spray). The rugs in the kitchen and bathrooms were very dirty (should be thrown away). The master bathroom was very dirty (mold on walls and shower floor was disgusting (glad I brought a mat to stand on in shower). Also, there is no designated area with grass for pets (pet friendly place should have this - not all pets will go on rocks). Left three days earlier than paid for.

Super Cute Cottage with own Beach and Dog Friendly

This place is a gem and I hate to share its secret. It is right across the street from its own beach. There is a light with crosswalk that you can use right out the door to get over to it. It is super modern. The pool is out the front door. It's in a super cute new community. And the best part is they allow dogs! Hardly anywhere allows dogs, and we have a special needs dog that has to travel with us or we can't go. We saw several other folks with dogs, as well.

Absolutely Amazing!

Cottages of Tannin 11 was absolutely an amazing place. The accommodations were like new. The cottage contained everything in both the kitchen and bathroom that our family needed for an enjoyable stay. It was "spotless" from the first step inside the front door. Our daughters loved the swimming pool that was just a few steps from the front porch. The beach access just across the street was so convenient and only a 4- or 5-minute walk to the beach. The pictures of the cottage were realistic representations of the property. Everything inside the cottage was super clean and neat. This will definitely be our first choice the next time we visit Orange Beach.

Nice stay

The cottage was nice. The management company was not good at all. Bombarded us with 4 emails the day we booked and a text. they kept emailing about excursions, asked for feedback before we even checked in. Code to enter property was incorrect. Lots of unnecessary money spent on "welcome bag" , the toilet paper and other items were all wrapped in their logo. Some may think this is "cute" and "charming" I would have rather paid a lesser management fee then get all the "fluff"

My door code that was sent to me was wrong. So I had to call 4 times before someone answered to get a new code. Other than that everything was fine.

The cottage itself was very nice. We loved the layout and it's always a plus when the bed/pillows are super comfortable. The cottage did have a lot of (what I'm assuming to be) dog fur on the stairs, floors, baseboards as well as in the bed sheets. We did have to wash the sheets before we could sleep in them due to the amount of fur. I did call the number given for concerns about cleaning and spoke to someone and was told they would have someone come the following day to clean. They arrived after 4pm the next day when we were just arriving back home from a day of deep sea fishing. I didn't appreciate the fact that it took almost a full day for someone to come and clean, especially with the price you pay to stay in what you hope to be a clean space.

Dealt with Roof Rats

Wasn’t the best. I had to contact the office for check-in information and door code, which didn’t work when we arrived- had to call again- they reset it. A end table was broken, called the office to report it was broken when we arrived. Pest Control arrived to deal with roof rats in attic, which we were hearing in the master bathroom vent. At my sons baseball game, they call to ask us to move our car… so my husband missed the last 3 innings of my son’s game. Continued to be interrupted with inspections. No offer of some sort of credit or refund for our trouble.

Nice house

I'm giving it a 4 stars rating due to a few things like only having a kuerig and no regular coffee maker. I love my pot of coffee in the morning so that was a real bummer. Also the induction stove was a challenge so simple operating instructions by the stove would have been helpful. Also the no early check in was also a bummer. They sent the code at 3pm with an ugly text about checking in and you'll receive a fine. I think communication with your guest could be better by being more tactful and courteous. Every text sounded so threatening. Most people will respect the rules and I feel that the communication could have also been more professional. We enjoyed the house, it was very clean and well stocked with dishes, silverware and towels. The location was also very nice.
