House was awesome and huge. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The grandkids loved the pool. It was an easy walk onto the beach. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything but bring your own spices and salt and pepper. Beds were comfy and loved the ice machines. 3 fridges held plenty of food for our large party of 20. parking for 8 cars. We bought beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys from Publix for less than the rental places in town. The kids had a blast out catching crabs every night on the beach (bring flashlights). Lots of good restaurants a short drive away. Great family vacation!

Family Vacation

This house is absolutely perfect for large groups! Very spacious with a natural gas grill, easy access to the beach, shade by the pool, in between all the attractions, and plenty of parking. It was a vacation to remember and we will be trying to get back to the Diamond in the future!

Excellent location!

This was our first trip to Orange Beach. The location was perfect - right on the beach with beautiful views! The house is located within a small community of houses that made the beach feel less crowded. That was a huge plus for us. The house itself was very spacious for our large family of 16. It was great to have so many bathrooms as well. The small pool was perfect for the kids too. Rick, the owner, was very communicative and provided all the info we needed. A few minor improvements could be made which would make it a 5 star stay. Rick said he will have those issues fixed. Overall it was a very good stay!

We will be back!

We went to Gulf Shores last year as a group but stayed in different locations. This year we decided to get a house where all 26 of us could stay. We absolutely hit the jackpot with this property! It is in a quiet, small neighborhood that has an awesome community pool. Very close to nearby stores for any quick trips for things you may need throughout your stay. The house is large, with plenty of room for everyone. We had an age range of newborn to mid-70s and everyone was very comfortable and never felt like we were on top of each other. The back deck was perfect, the kids swam in the pool while the adults hung out in the many seating areas around. You are right on the beach which was so convenient and absolutely beautiful, especially during sunrise and sunset. We will absolutely be back! This is a trip we will be talking about for years to come.

Great place _ elevator is ridiculous

We loved the house, the location and access to the beach. We selected this particular house because of number of bed rooms and the elevator. To me if they don't change the control panel or the way it operates it naturally will always be the way it is. When they have to put out a whole letter of do's and don'ts you should know they have a problem that needs to be fix.

Great Family Getaway

We had 19 people ranging from 13-85 staying in the house. It was a great space, plenty of space to spread out, share the deck and get to the beach. Everyone could go their own way, but also plenty of space for game nights, dance parties and family time. We had 2 minor unavoidable issues that came up - but what made them minor was that the team was super responsive and got things fixed quickly. I was impressed with how responsive the management team was, and they followed up to ensure we were satisfied with the results. Overall we had a great stay - it was a great house with ample amenities and space. It's clear this house has been kept up well and cleanliness is a focus!

Loved beach front.

We loved the house, very spacious for large crowds. Great lay out. Well equipped with things needed for cooking and grilling. Everyone had a great time. Especially loved being beach front. You can walk on the beach or just sit back on the balcony and relax.

The best week ever!

This property is perfect for large groups! Everyone had a wonderful time! The ice makers everywhere are so convenient, pool is the perfect size, the view cannot be beat! They have 2 of everything and there’s plenty of room to spread out if needed! We will be back! A+

Great week, awesome house

Overall we had a wonderful time. The house is very large and spacious. A/C works very well. Kitchen is a great layout to hangout and cook together. Great ice machine in the kitchen. The other two ice machines weren't working but the one machine worked just fine for us. Two refrigerators in the kitchen and another on the entry floor so plenty of space for food and drinks. The bedrooms were all great and quiet. There are lots of covered parking spots. And it's a really nice gated community with a big community pool. The private deck pool is actually bigger than it looks in the pictures which was a nice surprise. Shallow but great pool to hangout. There were a lot of jellyfish in the ocean during our stay. We still swam in the ocean but a few of us got stung. Beach is stunning and everyone keeps it clean which is nice. And respects the wildlife with muted lights at night. A bunch of us got massages at Wolf Bay and she was awesome and only 15 min away. We would absolutely rent this house again. Thanks for a wonderful and relaxing vacation.

Beautiful Home

Home is very well maintained, lots of room for Family and friends. Awesome that everybody has their own Bathrooms, even handicapped. Right on beach with own entrance Perfect having its own pool for all to enjoy all times of the day

Great house - could use a "refresh"

The house was wonderful however, we've stayed here a few times and nothing has been updated in the downstairs family area. It could use a refresh on the furniture and kitchen table and chairs. Also, their was not enough cooking pans for large parties - such as casserole pans and large pots.

Making memories

Our family (3 generations) takes a vacation together every other year - this year we had 19 in total. We have stayed in two other places at The Cottages and this was by far our favorite. The pool was perfect for the youngest grandchild (8 yo) to be able to play with her cousins (ranging in age up to 29). It’s also nice to have the deck walkout from the family room with just a few steps to the pool - this was helpful for our 79 and 81 yr old parents. The kitchen/family room space was great for us all to be together…yet not on top of each other. The rooms were great - ample beds and nicely decorated. Had an elevator but we did not use that. Beach access via walkway or walking through sand. Owners were responsive and great communication in advance of stay from owners and the property management company. Access was super easy and all information provided well in advance. We are already looking to rebook for our next family trip in 2025!

Our week at the Diamond was AMAZING!!! Rick was easy to contact, answered all questions, the house was well equipped with everything we needed, the pool was cleaned while we were staying there, all beds were comfortable, the furniture was comfortable, the location was perfect ....we want to go back next year!!

Thanksgiving family stay but no working oven

The home is amazing! Great location! It is new, it is clean, and so many rooms and bathrooms. The only challenge we had (which was big considering the occasion) was that we did not have a working oven for Thanksgiving. We called this issue to the number provided for all issues. We also text via the number provided. We finally went directly to the homeowner. The first responses from property management was that it was a holiday and no one was available to help. Yes, it was our holiday vacation as well and kind of needed to cook our turkey and everything else.... Then we were told that it could be the breaker. Not sure why that was even a suggestion as I told them that the burners on the top of the stove were working, but that the oven part would not cook. It was not the breaker, but there was no additional response after that. I was then told indirectly that it was probably user error because they have not had this reported before and that the operation is different but easier than other ovens. Finally, a technician was sent out and a part was needed to be ordered. We went all 4 days without an oven and cooked everything in an air fryer that we purchased the morning of Thanksgiving. This was more than frustrating considering the amount of money we were paying to rent the home. The owner did offer to reimburse us for the air fryer and small discount on another full week rental. I get that they are not in the habit of giving money back, but this is what my family felt would have been the only thing acceptable.

Amazing Stay

I booked this house for a group of 18 to stay and work for our annual budget meeting. It was PERFECT, we used Wi-Fi for all of us there was room to spread out and feel comfortable and when work was done for the day it was the perfect place to relax!

Good choice

Great location, lovely home right on the beach. Easy check in and check out process. Pretty much everything you’d need onsite or close by at grocery store. Property managers were helpful and easy to contact via text.
