My best friend and I loved this getaway! The balcony was nice and even though we could t see the beach, it was still very nice to eat breakfast on the balcony each morning. The pools were clean and not crowded. We also loved the very short walk to the beach The beach chairs were ok and the umbrella wasn’t really strong enough to hold up in the beach, so we just rented chairs each day it was nice having a big beach towel available and not having to pack such a big item. The room was very clean and comfy. We will definitely come here again. The host was super helpful and answered my questions very quickly - super nice!

The stay was wonderful and the check-out/clean up process was very clear and left very little room for interpretation, which helped us out a lot with the check-out process. The location was very nice with several good restaurants and amenities close by such as the Arcade and Mini-Golf. The condo itself was clean as well as the entire condo complex and the beach was wonderful with its cleanliness and accessibility.

Although it has been a few years since my last stay, I have visited Sugar Beach Condos several times in the past. Unfortunately, the property is showing signs of needing updates, along with more consistent outdoor cleaning and maintenance. I noticed trash in the bushes beside both poolside pavilions that had clearly been there for some time. Both beachside swimming pools also need a thorough cleaning, as there was a visible film around the pool walls—enough that people had written their names in it. In addition, several lounge chairs around all three pools were broken, and many of the remaining chairs needed cleaning, with some showing black mildew.Our stay was okay overall, but there are a few things that could be improved to make it more comfortable. Emptying the dehumidifier was a bit inconvenient, but it was necessary to keep it working properly—and having it on made a noticeable difference. However, I also want to point out that the filter had not been cleaned in quite some time, as it was completely clogged. The mattress really needs to be replaced because there’s a significant dip in the center that made for an uncomfortable nights sleep. The sofa bed is also too large for the space, and pulling it out required rearranging most of the room. Lastly, the curtains were difficult to pull together. With some updates and adjustments, this property could be much more enjoyable for future guests.

Beach vacation

My boyfriend and I decided to book here kind of last minute for a quick vacation. The condo was in a great area, so we didn’t have to drive very far for dinner and shopping. We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back. (:

The inside of the condo was very nice but this property is horrible. They only had 1 operating elevator. It rained and flooded all around that 1 elevator. There were children riding up and down this elevator pressing buttons and we had to wait 30 minutes to get our stuff upstairs.

Great place to stay if you’re wanting something small

Property itself looks older than advertised. Room is actually not a “1 bedroom” but an all in one bedroom/full kitchen/bathroom. Great place to stay if you’re looking for something small and affordable. No beach view from balcony.

Wonderful SB Getaway

Shelby is a great host! The updates she made are evident and makes the condo warm and inviting. The kitchen is fully stocked with essential cooking items as pictured in the listing. There are plenty of bath towels, the bed is comfortable, A/C & ceiling fan works great, and the dehumidifier was/is also needed and appreciated. Overall great location in proximity to restaurants /shops, activities, and easy access to the beach! We would highly recommend and will book here again!

Great Getaway

Located close to beach. The condo was great! Very clean. Exactly what we were looking for. Washer/dryer was easy to use. The Heated pool was nice and warm. Parking was convenient. Great communication. Would come back!!

This is the condo to book at Sugar Beach!!

This specific condo is the one to choose!!! I’ve had the pleasure of staying at the Sugar Beach building many times over a handful of years and once I found this condo I’ve chosen it every time since. I’ve stayed in this studio beachfront condo during the lively summer months as well as during the winter—and I can confidently say this is the best studio unit! Freshly renovated with impeccable attention to detail, the condo is fresh and new. The space is so well-designed, with excellent storage options that keep everything neat. This condo is the one to be sure you get booked for all seasons. Whether you want a summer escape or a tranquil winter retreat, this is the place to be! The guest reviews pointed me to this condo and I’m so glad —this condo and its host consistently deliver a great experience. The summer stay was incredible and exciting, with the easiest access to the beach steps away. But winter? Winter was pure magic. The beauty of the quieter beach, the dramatic sunsets, and the peaceful ambiance made it unforgettable. And, of course, enjoying the heated pool during the cooler months added a touch of luxury and relaxation to the stay. We’ve already booked our next stay and can’t wait to be back to this condo!
