If we weren't lied to about the heat for the hot tub working, we could look past the various types of food that littered the floor/furniture, the weeds surrounding the pool, the rodent feces on the patio furniture, the wrappers on the bottom of the pool, the layers of dirt that covered each wall, the vent fan in the main bath that's detached from the ceiling, the toilet that isn't secured to the floor in that same bath, the hole in the security fence surrounding the pool area, and I could go on. These things, I'm sure we can agree, can be considered normal wear and tear for a rental unit such as this. However, the lack of communication and lack of resolution regarding the heat for the hot tub I can not look passed. After making several email inquiries on billing us for the heat, with no response. Since the emails eventually went unanswered I phoned the management company, and was assured by Patricio that the heat would be included for as a way to cover any inconvenience. After arriving, we discovered the heat was inoperable. I called the manager and he apologized for Patricio not telling me the heater was broken. I was mislead and feel as though they only wanted my money while knowing the importance of the hot tub heater. I can only assume this is why they never charged for the heater and quit responding to the emails. Honesty is the best policy. Emails and some photos available upon request.
