Upon arrival and throughout our stay, we encountered multiple unacceptable issues:1.Severe pest problems – The property had roaches and a significant ant infestation.2.Broken amenities – The bed, broken safety gate, coffee table, and stair/porch rail were broken, posing safety hazards.3.Unreliable Wi-Fi – The internet connection repeatedly went out, disrupting our planned activities.4.Unsafe and unpleasant environment – Neighbors hosted an extremely loud party, smoked marijuana near the pool area, and made the environment unsuitable for children. This prevented the kids from swimming, and some family members chose to leave early because they did not feel safe.5. Dirty sheets - some of the beds had hair on themThese conditions are not in line with the listing description or Vrbo’s quality standards, and they caused significant distress and inconvenience during what was meant to be a family vacation.I am requesting a full or partial refund and for Vrbo to investigate this property to ensure other guests do not have a similar experience. Please let me know what documentation or photos you require to process this matter.I look forward to your prompt response.

Sibling Weekend

We had a wonderful sibling weekend that was truly special. My sister, who is blind, along with two other family members who have difficulty with stairs, joined us. The three-bedroom accommodation on the ground floor was fantastic—it was spacious and perfectly suited our needs. It allowed everyone to move freely between the indoors and outdoors without any hassle, which was particularly important for those with mobility challenges.The place itself was ideal for a larger family gathering. It was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One thing to note is that if you plan to use washcloths, make sure to bring your own, as they are not provided. Overall, it was a great experience that everyone enjoyed!

Perfect home for big family

Thank you so much for allowing our family to stay at your home! The home was perfect and exactly what our big family needed. We spend every year at story lake in different properties and this by far was our best stay and actually cheaper than most. We will be booking again in the future!

Incredible home for our family

This house was large, clean and comfortable! My husband and I have three adult children, along with their spouses and their children, our 8 grandchildren it was an amazing vacation for us all! The pool was perfect for us, and the Story Lake Clubhouse and all that they had to offer was something we all enjoyed besides the Parks, the amazing restaurants, I was in heaven! Senior class trip

The house is beautiful and very accommodating. We were a senior class on their senior trip. The kids loved the pool, the game room and the movie theater room. The only issues we had were that the upstairs carpet was very dirty. Also the description says there is a resort style pool that can be used, however, it is not even close to the house. It is at least a 10-15 minute walk. We had a large group and it was 100 degrees everyday. The kids were disappointed.

For the price—absolutely terrible

Reasons why we are rating it this way..our first day our pool had busted balloons and fake eye lashes in the bottom and was not serviced during our stay. The sliding glass doors didn’t lock and the track was extremely dirty. Not one of the outlets in the bathrooms worked and the doors with the push locks do not lock. We had a wet spot on the carpet upstairs by the air conditioner. By day 3 the wet spot was approximately 8’x10’ and leaking downstairs into the kitchen through the ceiling and floor vent. This issue caused 1 of the air conditioners to malfunction resulting in the house temperature climbing to 80 degrees. We called and texted the emergency number for 3 days about the leak and air conditioner not working and never received a response back. A repair tech came on day 4 to fix the air conditioner. The leak on the carpet was never repaired during our entire stay. The gate entrance QR code never worked for anyone in our group of 14. One of the pool table pockets is ripped and the balls kept falling out. The cute cubes in the picture by the pool don’t exist. House has a very musty smell. Kitchen cookware is very minimal. There were 2 frying pans (small and medium) and no covers for either. The “shuttle” service are golf carts and 1/2 the carts didn’t work so had to take several trips to take our large group. The sitting ledge around the spa had biting ants crawling everywhere. For spending over $5000, the issues we had are unacceptable - look for a different house!!!

Great location

Home was clean. Kitchen well stocked with anything you could need. In a great location, Super Target is at the entrance of the community. The lazy river, slide, basketball, volleyball and other activities is a great addition. Will definitely stay again.

Family Vacation

We had a group of 24 and the house accommodated us well. The house is beautiful and the neighborhood was great. Close to everything. We had a few issues trying to get ahold of someone upon arrival and the pool wasn’t heated for the first two days. It was perfect after. We noticed some broken items (blinds, light fixture, chair) we weren’t bothered by it just wanted management aware. The kids loved the game room and theatre but they absolutely loved the pool. Overall we had a wonderful time and will be visiting the area again in the future.

Fun Orlando times in a fun house

The property was nicely located amongst a lot of things to do. Management group was very responsive. Not crazy about the extra fees for grills and amenities but paid them to use. Overall a fun time and vacation for the family.

Fantastic location

This house was great! Comfortable, spacious, great location, clean, exactly what’s listed. There were about 20 of us and we were all quite happy! The only (minor) inconvenience we had really was the garbage disposal wasn’t working, but that’s about it, really. Would definitely pick this listing again!

Florida with extended family

Overall, the house was more than enough for our families. However, we stayed in and cooked instead of dining out, but had to supply just about everything we needed. Kitchen could be stocked better, like knives were so dull. Couldn’t cut tomatoes for burgers or steak meals. The only bathroom with a tub was not draining and the toilet really need more pressure. Otherwise, it is a beautiful home.

Fun Room Decor with plenty of space

The property was located a little further away from Disney World than advertised. Lots of great themed rooms with plenty of common spaces to gather. Beds were fine and towels provided for bathing. Note that that there were not many extras - no blow dryers, not many pots/pans for cooking for a large group, not enough forks, ran out of toilet paper on our stay. But if you are just looking for a place to lay your head it was great.

The property in general was a good experience

The property’s location is amazing, near grocery stores and main points. Just a couple of things we were not happy about. We paid the fee to use the BBQ and the code was not provided at the time of check in. By Sunday night (we arrived on Saturday) the pool was cloudy, maintenance did not reply and Monday after several calls and texts someone said “we will look into this” and it was never cleaned. It is a great house. Just need to improve communication when clients report issues.

Overall nice place just small things

The house is beautiful as described but there were just little things that can be improved. The arcade games didnt work. They were on but did not function properly at all. Some of the bedding seem very old like worn down. They were all clean just worn down, so not the most appealing for such beautiful rooms. Kitchen utensils where not the best but my family brought in our own so that wasnt major. I would recommend if anyone wants to cook for a group, they bring in there own things as well. Location was great and neighbors were wonderful. We had one hiccup with the A/C not working, but I was able to each maintenance and have a technician come out within a 2 hr span and that was really appreciated. Overall great experience and great vacation home.

Happy with property

Happy with this property. Unfortunately the communication was a small problem. I was sent a text asking if maintenance could come install an alarm system on the pool. It was an alarm on the back door. After it went off a dozen times we had to figure out we had to press a button to open the door and do t leave it open more then 30 seconds. We complained and we received an immediate response (happy about that) but sent a maintenance person to our house at 9am when I specifically asked that they do not come since the teenagers were sleeping. Well alarm goes off multiple times waking everyone in the house (not happy) since we were up until 3am dealing with loud neighbors. Yes had to call the police. Neighbors blasting music outside and we asked nicely to please turn it down. Nope! The house itself is great for the money.

Universal Studios family trip

This house was very spacious - plenty of room for everyone to space out. The bedroom dynamics offer room for privacy or the ability to bunk together, which is great for a large families/groups. It was clean, well organized and inviting when we arrived. The pool area/patio was also very clean and even has a safety fence if you have little ones. The grill was clean for our use and a propane tank was ready to go. We paid the extra charge for the pool/spa to be heated and it was warm and ready when we got there. However, the spa jets never worked so there was no benefit whatsoever for the spa. We called the management company to fix that for us and they said they were sending someone to do so but never did. We called 2 different times to request this but never got any assistance. That was disappointing. Contact with the management company was done through text only as the phone number that was listed on the informational sheet was always answered with a recording and you had to leave a message. We did have a matter of urgency that needed to be addressed immediately and at one point I was receiving text messages from two different phone numbers so I don't really know who I was talking to but luckily the situation was resolved. The upstairs is perfect for kids with the theater, arcade games (the air hockey table was hard to play so perhaps the air wasn't moving as it should and one of the video games didn't seem to function right) and plenty of bathrooms. Parking is first come-first served but we had no problem parking directly in front of the unit. Super Target and Dollar General is within walking distance. Smart tvs in every bedroom and wifi was good. Got to Universal Studios in about 20 minutes so it was convenient. Kitchen was stocked with just bare essentials but that was all that we needed. Neighborhood was quiet at night and felt safe. We would stay again and I would recommend it, especially with a large group.
