I’d like to start off by saying that we’ve stayed at Storey Lake for 4 years and would like to continue to do so, but this is the first time I’ve felt the need to leave a negative review. I’m hoping these conditions can be improved for the next renters. Pictures showed a big couch in the living room and it ended up being small which was not enough to accommodate the number of people that were staying there. The towel bars in the bathrooms were broken. The closet door in one of the rooms was broken off. The bottom of a night stand drawer was missing. A toilet paper holder was broke in one of the bathrooms. The ice maker on the fridge and dishwasher didn’t work. The locks on the doors did not work. Crumbs in bed sheets. Mattresses were all stained. There was a blood stain on one of the comforters. We called about the dishwasher and did not hear back. I would recommend that whoever is cleaning/taking care of the unit checks for these things prior to the next renters arrival.

The place was large, and the furnishings were adequate except for the dinning room chairs. They were the kind that rock when you lean back on them to the point that you will fall backwards because the chairs were broken. The dishwasher was broken and did now work at all. We called Florida Premier who was supposed to be taking care of everything but we could only leave messages and no one ever called us back or came to our unit. The downstairs had very little heat as it was January. The thermostat for the whole condo was located upstairs so the two downstairs bedrooms and the two bathrooms were extremely cold to the point where we had 4 blankets on at night and going to the bathroom felt like you were outside. But the worst of it all was that in the middle of the night the fire alarm in the unit would go off sometimes hourly. We had my husband my son and his wife and two children who started to cry when they heard the alarms go off at 12:45 AM and 1:45 AM just about each night. The first night my daughter in law grabbed the kids and ran with them outside in the cold while my husband, my son and I ran all over the house to see what was on fire. Getting into the community was ridiculous because the gates never worked. Coming home from a full day of Disney at 10 o'clock at night dead tired trying to find someone to help us open the gates was no fun. If you want to stay at a condo that completely ignores you and any issues you might have than this is the place for you.

Great location. Only problem we had was the over cleanliness of the rooms. The bedding in each room appeared to not be cleaned from previous occupants. I had hair in my bed and my mother found a sock in hers. My sister sheets had stains on it. I also didn’t like the micro fiber wash clothes. More needs to be put into to the appearance of the rooms also the comforters are old.

2 week stay

We stayed at this property for a full 2 weeks. Spending such a long time here we really got a good feel for the place. The beds are very comfortable. My husband and i slept in the upstairs primary and it was wonderful and everyone else said the same about the other rooms. The bathrooms are very spacious, as is the overall feel of the home. The second floor bonus area with a sectional and video game console was a hit with the teen boys,, as was the game room (converted from the garage so it was a little warm but super neat.)There were a few minor issues to report. The dishwasher continually didn’t work. Each time we wanted to use it we had to call the rental company to send someone out to fix it. Apparently there is a wiring issue. The most annoying thing may have been the remotes for the lights. Several of the bedrooms had the exact same light fixture with the exact same remote. When one person would turn the light on in one room all of the lights in the room rooms would come on. This is not fun late at night when some people are sleeping. In regards to the area, many of the neighbors were up really late with loud music and games. The police were there a few nights following up on noise complaints.The couch that is pictured in the downstairs living room is not there. It has been replaced with a couch that is not very comfortable. The back door lock does not lock properly and the legs on beds in the front downstairs bedroom are poorly made and broken.

Family trip

Overall nice and spacious. Dining chairs kind of broken. Really would have liked a bigger table outside to play games etc. Pedestrian gates do not work. Shower curtains fell down often. A bit taken back by a roving cannibas dispensary within the gated property. Would have liked a vacuum. Kitchen range in need of a deep cleaning. Was the pool heated as requested? Enjoyed the community water parks.

Would not rent again - Do Your Research

The listing of this property, and the neighborhood make it sound like a great option. However, the listing is very deceiving. 1. For the neighborhood: - The resort style pool is closer to 2 miles away, and without a direct path is a car trip through 2 lights and a roundabout, not exactly convenient. - The smaller pool is a decent walk, but within the first set the properties gates.- The property did have gate issues, and there were consistent lines to get in due to issues with the QR Codes. - This community is a stretched out series of gated neighborhoods.- Parking on the street is not allowed in the listing, but obviously not followed in the rest of the neighborhood.The House:- The home was filthy. The self Concierge leads to dirty floors, walls, windows, etc. The only roomed that looked to be vacuumed was the master.- Be aware of the bedding. We ended up washing all of the sheets the first night as there was debris and stains on most of the sheets. This ended up being a 4am first night to make sure everything was clean for the kids.- The shower curtains were placed so high in two bathrooms it was almost comical. And the Shower heads sprayed in every direction.- The kitchen was a joke. The coffee pot still had the last groups coffee grounds in it. The stove looked like it was pulled out of a war zone, and the shelves in the refrigerator were unstable.Out of characters to really give a full review, but this was only 2 stars for the space we had.

Excellent stay

Location was clean had great amenities lots of rooms overall a great stay. We did have the fire alarms go off one night. I believe they sent maintenance in the next day to change batteries and the game room is an excellent touch. Furniture was excellent.

Terrible Management Company and Home in Disrepair

The house itself was clean, a great size, great location and could be fantastic. Multiple maintenance issues including exposed wires, towel bars falling out of the wall, air vents out of the wall and on the floor, and a few other minor issues. The home has very little supplies, next to nothing, including very little in the kitchen The management company is likely the reason i would never return. They never called back to help us out, email replies were inaccurate, and they were a big disappointment. With all of this we will not return to this home.

Beautiful and cleam accommodations!

The property was clean and beautifully decorated with plenty of room for a big family vacation. The resort slso had really nice amenities and a Target in walking distance. The only downside is if you don't rent a car, getting Ubers into the complex is difficult and frustrating. The resort needs to get a better system for guests who don't rent cars. A Nice Getaway

The house was perfect, clean and comfortable. We loved having the heated pool. I highly recommend this place. Friday and Saturday nights get a little rowdy for neighbors but it didn’t take away from staying in this beautiful home close to everything.

Amazing Location!

Overall, nice house. The pool area isn’t that private, but we spent most days at the parks. Easy to get to Disney, and close to restaurants and shopping. The house is fairly bare bones, needed to purchase basics like garbage bags, dish soap, etc. Overall, we had a great vacation!

Property was nice, close to everything. Second time on the same street. Found we didn’t have the best privacy being on the corner but it was fine. Late checking in as the group before us was apparently pretty messy. Overall no real complaints and had a great time.
