Last minute vacation went very well

The trip was really enjoyable and there were only a few small issues that were remediated quickly. The property was just as described. Very spacious rooms and common areas, well maintained pool and lanai, and a very comfortable stay. The small issues were the cleaning crew were not ready at 4 when I arrivedbut they were very apologetic and it was a short delay. There was some confusion on how to connect to the provided WiFi. And there was a fire detector that started chirping, likely a low battery, but it only did it twice during our stay. My family and friend were also very impressed with the property. Thank you for providing a nice property and professional services to make our last minute vacation a success.

Bruna always replied quickly and helped to work around our groups hectic travel schedules. As team mom for my two daughters and this stay was the second in Sonoma Resort, but this stay far exceeded the first experience (first was not the same property). I would have loved to book this property for both team stays… and if we return to Orlando, will absolutely book this property again without any hesitation. We felt very at home with ample space in the beautifully decorated living and dining areas, game and outdoor spaces and most importantly the bedrooms. Our reservation included 13 females (two adults and eleven teens) so having a bathroom in each bedroom was a MUST and was extremely helpful when returning from tournament play with exhausted & dirty athletes. There was always hot water and enough towels. Earlier reviews about not enough towels provided wasn't our issue; I did laundry constantly and a couple girls brought their own. An illustrated guide book with all the necessary information was provided (house rules, AC instructions, resort amenities, etc) as well as pleasant signs on the first floor of the home. Even the light switches were labeled… a simple and brilliant touch! House was modern and clean, and had a Ring doorbell and security cameras for a good sense of safety. Security at the resort guard shack was always friendly and diligent checking guests through. House is close to entrance and the resort center and trash disposal. Trash wasn't picked up on Sat & Sun so we disposed at the center on Monday check-out to avoid fees for exceeding 6 bags). 5 min to the Loop, 25-30 min to Orange Convention Center, 5 min to Walmart, 10 min to Sam’s gas, 25 min to MCO…. This was a very ideal location to stay at! Air conditioning was always cold. Refrigerator and Freezer was French door style and narrow, so groceries should be purchased just before use. Pantry was spacious, lots of assorted cooking utensils provided. Banquet table accommodated the team and large island allowed us plenty space to prep/serve. Dishes and silverware provided was always enough for our group Pots and pans were numerous, though a large stew pot would be helpful. Laundry room conveniently on second floor. Pool toys, floats provided was a great touch! Movie + game rooms BONUS Each bath had hotel-sized bar soap, shampoo/conditioner. Renters need to bring own toilet tissue, paper towel, dishwasher pods, etc but enough provided to start. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Great place to stay. No joke.

I loved the house.I loved the lay out of the house and it was decorated beautifully. We travel quit a bit and this was one of my favorite stays. There's nothing negative to say about this house. It was clean , comfortable , designed and decorated very well and we will hopefully stay here again , someday. Loved it .

Maybe not the place for families

The gated Community of Sonoma Resort was in a good location and nice area. The guards at the entrance were friendly. We enjoyed seeing the alligator and turtles at the lake. Sonoma resort seems to be mainly made up of large villas and it was extremely busy when we stayed. I think there were a lot of teenage groups. There was one house in particular along the street which had very loud and noisy parties practically every day and night. After suffering the noise for at least a week, I texted Bruna about this and was told that Sonoma has a quiet policy for after 10pm at night. Bruna contacted security and it was quiet later that night but the parties went on for the remainder of our holiday. I have stayed in many villas over the years but never have I had to contact a manager/owner as much as I had to contact Bruna. I hate having to bother them. The villa itself was let down by the state of the carpets which were very stained. There were no instructions left for the villa - I had to remind Bruna twice and she sent me an email which really did not cover very much. We spent quite sometime finding out how to work the spa, pool lights etc eventually giving up on the outside light and texting Bruna again only to be told that it was hidden behind the upstairs couch. The outside fan didn't work and was never fixed and the patio door lock which was also very loose was never fixed. We also had to ask for more towels and a vacuum cleaner. The pool area was spacious and had enough seating for us to enjoy it. The pool was heated for us at a lovely temperature. The pool heat was also accidentally turned off for a couple of days but we did not receive a refund. On the plus side, Bruna was very apologetic about everything and quick to respond to my texts. A manual with instructions on how appliances work, house rules and community rules would be helpful. Also ,maybe not leaving the dishes set out on the table. I think it looks great when you are taking pictures of the villa to advertise it but not practical for guests who just have to put it all away.

Nice Home, Good Location

Good Morning.. House was designed as we all had some privacy, good location for us, pool area nice... Cons.. Carpet needs a deep clean, Not enough Towels and Wash Cloths for size of Villa. Spa was much cooler than heated pool.

Nice home with pro's and Con's

Home is very nice with lots of space. Cosmetic issues with the home such as knob missing off the stove, benches in all rooms the legs were loose so you couldn't sit on them. Carpet going up the stairs and in bedrooms had stains. I really didn't have an issue with the carpet my issue was the rules clearly stat no shoes and no pets well apparently the previous renters did all of the above. That leaves the next renters to possibly be blamed if it was not reported correctly by the housekeeping staff. The game room would have been a hit accept the ice hockey table fell apart while moving it from against the wall to play it. Patio and pool area was very nice. This would be the perfect vacation home if the maintenance was kept up. The owner responded was very easy to get a hold of.

Great house and best in class host

We had a great time at this home. Like any home rental sometimes things malfunction, however Bruena goes above and beyond to get it resolved quickly. Bruena made us feel like we were her family visiting her home, and made everything special. We always felt like she was looking out for us. We would definitely stay here again on our next family visit to Orlando. The home is close to all parks: Disney, SeaWorld, Universal (we visited all three). The only downside was that we had a huge Mercedes Sprinter van (22 feet long) and it would not fit in driveway and we had to park about a block away, which wasn’t really that big of a deal.

Very spacious and very comfortable.

Our family throughly enjoyed staying at this property. It was clean, roomy, and you couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. The only downside of our stay was getting a parking ticket for having our cars partially parked on the side walk because the drive way was not long enough for four vehicles. I still recommend this property and would stay again. The owner Bruna responded to our questions promptly and kept the communication line open throughout our stay
