Family of four, plus a grandparent. We have a 16 year old who uses a power wheelchair. Overall, this was perfect for us. This very clean, unpretentious and well appointed home served as a great space to start and return to on our busy days in Orlando. We were there for a wedding, but did a lot of sight seeing. On some occasions, the time to get back and forth to Orlando was longer than ideal due to traffic, but worked fine for us since we left for the day each day (no going back and forth). It was nice to get out of the fray and have a quiet, private space to be at the end of the day. Accessibility details: The private pool has a pool lift, and the floor plan is pretty open and easily navigable for a wheelchair. There is a portable ramp at the entrance and another out to the pool patio. There is a lip on both door sills, but the power chair was able to go over it with a little jostling. We put a doormat over the lip out to the pool and that worked fine. The shower, sink and toilet in the master bathroom are wheelchair accessible and there is a shower chair, though there are walls around both toilet and shower that could possibly get in the way for someone who can’t transfer without help. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to others who need a wheelchair accessible option near Orlando.
