Prior to our trip the host was very helpful & communication was excellant. Unfortunately we got to the gate at 3:45 and the gate stated our names were not registered. We had to get back in line 3x & it took 45 to get through the gate & another 15m to get into the home due to another issue. The gate blamed the host & the host blamed the gate. Again the host was very responsive. Once in the VRBO we had a few more issues. We paid for the pool/spa heat, but the spa only had 3 " of water in it & the pool wasnt heated. We had a 2 night stay & the issue got fixed by about 4pm on our last night. Neither the spa nor the pool got warm so we never used it. I understand things can break down but my issue is that we were told we couldnt get in the house even 15 mins early because the home wasnt ready, yet no one addressed or noticed the pool/spa issue. The pac man game didnt functIon properly. These 2 things were the biggest reasons I got the house so it really impacted our trip. The first day was mostly spent dealing with all the issues. However, the theme bedrooms are beautiful & just as in pictures. The Oasis Club was very nice & fun. The Host & VRBO offered compensation & I truly appreciate the responsiveness. Things can happen but in the end what counts is the response, thus the 4 stars instead of lower. The home truly has potential as it is beautiful. I believe the hosts have intentions of giving more attention to detail and they offer a fair price so I wouldn't hesitate to book.
