Great Location

We’ve stayed at Windsor hills before and love it. I understand that it’s a self sufficient unit but we’re a bit disappointed in the few supplies in the kitchen. Other then that, it’s a great location and we plan to return.

Great option

Overall we had a fine experience here. We had a bit of an issue checking in; the guard didn’t have our names as guests on the location I rented. After some time he was able to locate us under a completely different unit not even owned by them. It took quite some time to get someone on the phone to figure out what was going on. After a long drive with overtired kids, it was frustrating to have that issue and not much urgency from vacasa. They didn’t seem bothered by the issue and didn’t offer much resolution. The guard was nice enough to let us in as guests of the wrong unit, but there was no follow up from the company to confirm that we had the right place. Luckily there wasn’t anyone already in the condo when we attempted to enter, and our stay was uninterrupted. They were supposed to call us back with a resolution and never did. I’m not sure if it was an error on the part of vacasa or Windsor hills, but neither party cared to resolve or communicate with us. The condo itself was very clean and the only issue inside was the fridge/freezer not being very cold. We didn’t realize until it was much later that nothing was freezing in the freezer and items in the fridge weren’t super cold. We didn’t end up reporting it to vacasa because we had a short stay and didn’t feel they would do much while we were there. We had bottles of water in the freezer for 3 days that never came close to freezing and we tossed the leftovers in the fridge to be safe.

Fun time

We enjoyed our stay here. Lovely grounds and pool area. We appreciated that they keep the pool very warm for a stay in January. Close to Disney World. We found the 10 digit access code to the room troublesome at times with the corridor being rather dark.

Good Overall

The person we rented from was amazing in getting back to us about questions we had. There's a few things that need addressing - heat didn't work while we were there and we happened to visit during a cold snap, freezer didn't freeze and we had to throw away frozen food we purchased. The pool was fantastic and the extras you can do within the complex.

Disney Trip with Grandchildren

This was an excellent place to stay. The location to Disney is close and the water park was amazing. We had a good choice of restaurants that were close by as well. Overall, I don’t think we could have made a better choice. The condo was very spacious, easy in and out, and again, so close to Disney.

We enjoyed our family vacation to Orlando parks and outlet shopping. The condo could use some decor updates (my opinion) but we found it to be clean and plenty spacious for our family of 5. The property management team was very responsive when we requested extra pillowcases. The pool area was great.

Vacasa vacations

First off we had early check in and when we got to the security gate they had no info on our party. It took 2 hrs to get Vacasa to send the paperwork to Windsor hills… so much for early check in!! The rental property was not clean and in disrepair. The security lock on the door was broke, there was no stopper in the master bedroom sink, the kitchen sink faucet was very difficult to move, cobwebs and dust thru out, couch and loveseat cushions kept sliding out and one of the arms was ripped. The location was good for the theme parks. The whole condo needed deep cleaning and a makeover!

Beautiful resort, great location!

This resort was stunning, with a great pool, water slides, and hot tub that we spent most of our days in. Close to tons of stores (Walmart, Disney souvenirs, Target) and Starbucks. We definitely recommend!

Good for the price

Good location and overall property. Nice pool area and fitness center. The unit was good for the price. As others have said, the carpet needs to be replaced. Kitchen/cleaning supplies were limited and definitely not enough trash bags supplied for a full week. We would likely stay again.

Just as I expected, not disappointed

Just as I expected, not disappointed. The place was exactly as it is listed three bedrooms two baths kitchen living room dining room table. Pool splash pad and slides are as advertised, kids love them all! Great location to Disney without being in Disney. Right off the main road where there are plenty of dining and souvenir options!

Property served its purpose.

Upon arrival, the gatekeeper / security guard was unpleasant to deal with. Very rude, seemed as if he didn't like his job. Check in was at 4pm but I had to wait until 6pm because the property wasn't ready. Other than that the property served its purpose. It was clean and the neighbors were pleasant.

The living room carpet wasn't very clean, the high chair was still dirty, not all the tvs or remotes worked, there was only one trash bag for the week. But overall the stay was nice and location was great, those things were inconvenient but did not ruin our stay. I would try the property again.

Convenient to Disney but just ok

The property itself was nice- water park was great for a day off the parks. Checking in was not fun- I got an email the day before asking for names of all people above the age of 16. I did that. Then I got an email that I had not completed what was requested. I emailed them back with the information and sent a follow up email checking to make sure check in would be ok. But I was emailed the check in info and seemed like everything was ok. When we checked in security wouldn’t let us through. 20 mins later and we got everything figured out. They did need all of the childrens names which was kinda creepy. The condo was decent. Cheap hotel towels, two broken drawer fronts in bathrooms, and one trash bag to use for the whole week. Also had to call for maintenance for the ice maker that wasn’t working and the master bedroom light bulbs that were burnt out. Maintenance did fix the ice maker within a few days. No one addressed the burnt lightbulbs. It was a spacious condo and beds were decent. They did have a stroller and pack n play but we didn’t need those. Would have appreciated kitchen towels, trash bags, and better towels. We would stay at Windsor Hills again but not at this condo.

Another great stay!

This is the fourth time we have stayed in this particular condo and we love it. We love the size and comfort of it and the pool. Karaoke night on Friday was so fun while swimming at sunset! Hope to be back regularly.

Started out concerned, left happy

I booked this property earlier this year after reading many great reviews. As our vacation approached, we were reviewing the listing and found 3 recent terrible reviews regarding a dirty unit, moldy shower curtains, stains, bugs, etc. Had I seen those types of reviews first, I would've never booked the property. I contacted the owner, a big company called Vacasa, to share my concerns about the recent reviews. It was difficult to get an update, so we nervously held our breath as we arrived at the unit. We were greeted with a clean condo. Clean towels, clean bedding, new shower curtains, no bugs. After reading other people's suggestions, we arranged a Walmart pick up order before we flew into Orlando so we made sure to have extra TP, extra laundry soap, paper towels, and of course coffee, breakfast foods, evening snacks like pizza rolls and sandwich meat. (Word of warning-the nearby Walmart is a complete zoo!!!) The pool is awesome. Wish we had spent more time there, but we had a lot on our agenda. I will definitely stay at that unit again if we end up in the area. Only suggestion for owners is to shut it down for a few days and deep clean and do updates. Dusty/dirty floorboards, carpet is at end of life, replace shower surround with one that has shelving for bottles, etc., Needs updated dishwasher.

Poor Communication

VBRO and unit owner(Vacasa) communicated very poorly. VBRO blamed Vacasa and VBRO blamed Vacasa. This caused 4hr delay getting on to the property and into the unit. Unit was superficially clean. Mold in the bathroom, no trash bags, shower curtains were dirty, only one bar dof bath-soap for 5 people.toilets would not stop running. When checked the tanks were full of mold. the flush valves were antique.only two towels. .

Gross sheets and no response

We won’t be back. I reached out several times prior to our trip with no response requesting an early check-in. Finally the day before I was told no after a 4th attempt to contact someone. I was told they may be done cleaning early and I’d get an email/text with door code when ready. I got one at 9 am, with the door code and access but it didn’t state the room was ready, so I was confused. I reached out and again and was told after a 3 hour delay from the property manager that I had to wait until four because the room was rented the day before, but she never addressed why the door code was already sent. I then asked if we could use the pool early. She replied that yes we could access the pool, but not the room… so we went and started using the pool around 3 pm. At the exact time, we were serving to the pool, she texted saying sorry, no we couldn’t use the pool. In summary there was no communication with the property manager and who was actually cleaning or preparing the room, so they had no clue whether the room was actually ready or what the rules were of us using the pool early. It was terrible and confusing. When we got to the room it appeared to be cleaned ok-some food crumbs on the counters, and floors, but overall ok. Then at bedtime I pulled back the king bed comforter to find crumbs, and black hairs alllll Over the bed. I messaged the property manager asking if there were spare sheets/bedding (I couldn’t find any) because we wanted to go to bed and the sheets clearly weren’t changed in the master. Or if they were-clean sheets weren’t put on. It was SO gross. She never replied. So I stripped the sheets, washed them and remade the bed-delaying our bedtime by almost 2 hours. The lack of response was TERRIBLE all around. This was apparently her cell phone, so I’m not sure why she couldn’t ever respond.
