This was by far the worst experience I have EVER had while traveling. I booked this house April 28 2022 for an arrival date of 11/17/2022. That is almost 7 months, when I requested that the email with the door code be re-emailed ( which I found later) they said that they could not resend it because the house was not paid for. I was at the parks with no access to my computer and the rest of my group needed to check in. I emailed from my phone saying that I booked this in April and could they please verify that this was indeed paid for since I did receive an email in April saying thanks for booking with us and that I would get an email 24 hours prior to arriving. I did not hear back. I then called the 24 hour line since my group was now there, it was 9pm, and the lady that answered gave me an emergency code to get in. No sooner did we get in the house and she called back SUPER rude and saying that this house has not been paid for and she would have to start the check out process. I explained the issue and that I booked this in April and that I did get the original email with the code and they did send an email welcoming me she kept saying that she would have to start the check out process. After what seemed like forever trying to get her to help me ( I did keep saying that I would give her my card and we could clear this up after) she said that I would have to pay or she was calling the police. Are you kidding me, I offered multiple times to give her my card, I did however NOT want to be charged twice is why I was trying to get to the bottom of the issue. They did take out my insurance that I bought, so the issue seems to be on their end. The house was subpar, the couch was broke, the pook cues were not usable and the house was not the cleanest.
I would say with all the houses in Storey Lake, and there are a ton, to stay ANY place other than this one.
I also reached out to the manager multiple times with my issues and he has NEVER reached out, not even once.
STAY AWAY!!!!!!!
