Nice place but not handicap accessable
We rented the house because it said handicap accessable. When I got there with my husband, my children and grandchildren had not arrived yet, I had to use his portable ramp to get him up the curb, then up the step in the sidewalk and then the stepup into the house, luckily I brought his portable ramp with us just in case. So everytime we left or arrived we had to move the ramp three times to get him into the house. The inside was not really handicap accessable either, there was one bedroom downstairs but his power wheelchair would not fit through the bedroom door and was kind of hard to get anywhere in the house but the main entrance. I have a portable lift to get him out of his chair so I had to put him in that and then take him into the bedroom, which was carpeted so was not easy.
Other than that issue it was a very nice place, pretty clean, make sure you bring your own paper towel as there was not any extra and there were not any extra pillows and only one blanket in the bedroom closet.
We just asked for handicap accessible places when we searched so I didn't look any further, maybe we were suppose to let them know and they had some different units that would have worked?
