Came in for a couple of days and didn’t spend as much time at the property I would have liked to. Too cold to use the pool. Would love to come back to enjoy and relax. In an amazing area of town with stunning houses all around. A hidden gem. Nice and quiet, just as I love it!

The unit was very clean and well stocked with linens, extra towels, snacks, bathroom necessities and such. The area was very nice and we enjoyed the nice grounds. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the bathroom window had no cover and the bed wasn’t that comfortable to me. But with that said, I absolutely do recommend Mills Cottage.

Quaint and Relaxing

My family and I wanted to have fun during the day at all the Disney parks but was interested in staying somewhere quaint and quiet in the evenings. This place was perfect and we would recommend it to everyone. Great price, great location and great host!

The property itself is genuinely beautiful, but that is where the positives end. The listing advertised a waterfront view — the lake was completely dried out and had clearly been that way for some time. The unit had a severe odor upon arrival, consistent with mold or sewage, which was never fully resolved during my stay. Breakfast was listed as an included amenity; the host's idea of fulfilling this was leaving single-serve boxes of cereal and Pop-Tarts with no milk. When I raised this, the follow-up was equally inadequate. An office space was advertised with photos in the listing — the host refused to provide access. When issues were raised, the host was responsive but ineffective, and nothing was resolved to an acceptable standard. Vrbo had to get involved in order to get anything resolved. If you are considering this property based on the waterfront listing or the included amenities, please verify both before booking. What is advertised and what is delivered are two very different things. Please see attached photos of dried up lake, and amenity list that breakfast is included, and an office is provide provided with the printer and computer (but host says he does not allow access)

One of my favorite Vrbo's!

This trip was for a small gathering to celebrate a friend's birthday. The property is very unique (check out the listing to see it ALL - the amenities are great!) and it made for the perfect space to hang out. Host was excellent.

Perfect getaway!

Upon arriving nice neighborhood drive was seemed small but on our last day with multiple cars on lot it was easy to get out. I was impressed by the whole property, but the vegetation was by far my favorite thing the pool was easy to find there was so many things to keep us occupied if we needed. Owner was quick to respond and even checked in with us. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect getaway!

This hidden gem was the perfect getaway retreat! Clean and comfortable and fully stocked for all our needs. The property was green and lush and so interesting! We used the game room and hot tub as well as relaxed by the lake. The only regret was that we did not book it for more days! Jerome was an awesome host and communication was great! Thank you! We will be back!!!

My 12 night stay here was superb! This is a newly renovated unit that is perfectly located within proximity to anything one could wish to do in Orlando. The host (Jerome) was nothing short of super hospitable. He even offered to take me to the grocery store if need be. Initially I was a bit nervous to book this unit since the host had no reviews on HomeAway, however, I found this host on Airbnb with nearly 200 excellent reviews. I am satisfied with my choice and will be staying again with this host on my next trip to Orlando. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS UNIT AND HOST!!!!

Host really aggressively pressured me to give him money and refused to extend because I took a few hours later to get him a check. One of the least hospitable hosts I’ve ever met. Very stressful experience.

the idea of the rental is amazing and it is truly beautiful. It was peaceful, quiet, and we were the only ones there. Unfortunately the property didn’t seem to be cleaned in a while. There were dead cockroaches in the airbnb and in the game room. There was cobwebs all over the airbnb as well as the game room and the gym. The office area room is not actually able to be used like it displays in the photos online. Says you have access to it with the $35 a day and you do not. We wanted to play darts in the game room but unfortunately all of the darts tops were broken off so we couldn’t play.

Absolutely beautiful grounds! The cottage was very cute and clean. It appeared by the pictures there would be canisters of shampoo/conditioner/body wash available. There was some head and shoulders shampoo, and a bottle of condition, no body wash. All there was, was 1 small hotel size bar of soap. We were not expecting the cottage to be right off of the major highway. Not a big deal but everyone indicated peaceful setting, and it was for the most part, but noisy with a lot of air traffic. Did not use any amenities, but everything looked very inviting! We did enjoy the small lake the property overlooked with birds and turtles. There is another huge lake close by that is within walking distance and had a very nice path around it, that is worth the walk.
