We stayed during a record cold time in Florida, unfortunately this property is not set up for such conditions. We could not get the heat of the home to rise above 59F at night which made it difficult to sleep even with extra blankets. We were in contact repeatedly and Grand Welcome sent out a tech but told us it was "working" as well as it could. We then had a broken faucet in one of the bathrooms that we were advised by Grand Welcome to turn off the water to the entire house via the water main. They said they were going to send a plumber out the next day but none showed. We were informed the plumber had cancelled the appointment but Grand Welcome did not communicate this with us. With 9 people staying at the property without heat or water it was a terrible experience. After all these issues Grand Welcome promised a full refund, but shortly after they told us to leave.

We cancelled the reservation at arrival because the house had signs of black mold growing in the AC unit, additionally the house smelled musty, the carpet was grossly dirty, the tile floor wasn’t cleaned as my son’s feet turned black within 10 minutes of us inspecting the house. We reached out to report the issue and request our money back. We also explained my son has cystic fibrosis and the property was a hazard not only for all of us but specifically for him. The owner and property manager refused to understand the gravity of the problem and were forced to dispute the transaction with our credit card company and VRBO. Do not rent this house!

Family Disney Trip

Overall our stay was nice and the kids really enjoyed themselves. The house is showing a little wear and tear (seats in movie room, some window blind slats are missing/hanging) and chipped wall paint, but I guess that is to be expected when renting. I did notify the rental agents just so they’ll be aware because it’s possible the cleaning team has not told him about it. And they were very receptive and responded promptly. I just didn’t want them to think my family did it. The house is close to many stores/resturants. I would rent again.

All good Except Game room and Pool

Game room sofa's were in bad shape, needs to be replaced. Pool could have been more clean, we saw some hair and stuff. Other than that it was good.

Fun,relaxing, ideal location

The property was wonderful and had everything we needed except an ice maker. The rooms were beautiful and as pictured. The pool was great!! The only disappoint was the recreation room. The chairs should either be replaced or simply removed. They are in horrible shape. Other than that, it wasspectacular and we would stay again.

Was very very disappointed with the game room. All 6 recliners were in horrible condition. Should have been replaced or just thrown out. Need to improve and take pride of having a rental property

Family Fun

We enjoyed our stay at the property while visiting Universal Studios. The pool was nice and warm. The bedrooms were all nice and comfortable. A few of the ceiling fans were noisy when in fan mode. The only thing I would have enjoyed better was the movie/playroom. I did not sit in it. The chairs are VERY worn. The carpet is VERY dated, and it smells (old-not mildewy). I would high suggest upgrading the movie/playroom (new carpet & at least chair covers).Travel time to Universal Studios is 45-60mins each way (not 30 mins).

Fun Weekend!

The house was beautiful with big spacious rooms, theater room, pool and hot tub! Although we were only there two days, the kids enjoyed the theater room, pingpong and hot tub! It does need some updating and some of the furniture needs replaced, but overall a wonderful stay!

Disney theme house

Nice house. Very well equipped for children--2 highchairs, multiple Pack N Play-with mattresses, and 2 strollers. My granddaughter loved the Disney themed beds and bedrooms.

Stay at Acadia Estates

The property was great. Communication was A+. Very clean. There were just a few issues. I have never stayed at one of these types of homes. Always in a hotel or a hotel with a kitchen. The play room was great for the kids, the couches in there were really bad. Maybe that doesn't matter with renting a house. The dishwasher utensil holder has some mold (just needs a good cleaning).Freezer is very icy, perhaps may need temperature regulated. Showers hard to regulate temperature. Other than those few things, it didn't make my stay miserable, just think they should be remedied. The house is super close to the parks, shopping etc. I would stay there again in the future.

Well worth it

The kids love it. The pool was amazing. Close driving distance to everything. The only issue was the theater seating was very used and the pool table thing was not set up still in box. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay though with kids. Very kid friendly.

Serendipity at Acadia Lively Review

The place was nice and we would stat here again. A few things we did not like was where the movie room is pretty ran down with the recliners not working and the fact that a pool table is shown, but there was no pool table when we arrived. There was a new ping pong table in a box with a broken one in the room, but a pool table would have been nice especially when one is shown in the advertisement. The Lightning McQueen bed slats kept falling out too, which made the bed unusable also. We would stay here again though. It was a nice property and a good location.

An excellent place to stay!

We absolutely loved this house!! It was huge & was everything we needed. It was so nice having all of our families & grandkids together. The kids really enjoyed the movie theatre/game room & the pool. We will definitely be back! It was very close to the Magic Kingdom too! Very very nice place to stay!!! We loved our stay!

Nice Property/Lots of Room

This house has plenty of room and lots of bathrooms for all. With 3 big bedrooms downstairs and a theatre/game room. Nice pool and hot tub. The kitchen is on the smaller side.. but it worked for us. My only complaint is that two of the three bathrooms showers did not work. Had to remove Toddlers from tub to another tub. You either got REALLY HOT WATER or REALLY COLD WATER. I did report this and said they could come after our stay to fix the issue. We just used another bathroom. HOWEVER, I noticed that someone prior to our stay already reported the issue. I am not happy about them not fixing the issue... goodbye 2 stars. So.... if your stay was after 1/22/24 and you experienced this issue... give them a lower rating for not fixing an issue already reported.

Disney Vacay

We came down for a Disney vacation. Location was prime! House had more space than we even needed, everyone was very comfortable. There is updated furniture in the living room (different from listing) which I was really happy about. House was really clean and came stocked with all the necessities to get started - much appreciated. I also appreciated a very minimal list of requirements at check out. Only thing I would recommend updating on the listing was the lack of the stroller. Already reached out to the owners and they said they were working to update too. Very satisfied! Plan to stay again in the future.

Great Family Time

We enjoyed this house so much. There was plenty of room for my family of 16 and we loved the game/movie room. The pool/spa was perfect. I walked every morning in the neighborhood and it was very peaceful. Easy check in process and no problems during our stay. The game tables need updated but my family still used them.

The home waa beautiful and in a great location. My only issue was the pool never got heated(we paid $19/hr a day for. The owner gave me a 3 day refund). Master bedroom with pztio access the toilet needs to be fix it runs all day and night no matter how you jiggle the ha8

Time to refresh a bit

The price was right on this property, but I would have paid more if I had been able to regulate temperatures in the pool and hot tub, if the power had stayed on in the front bedroom and game room throughout our stay, if the temperature of the showers wasn't either freezing cold or burning hot and nothing in-between, if there had been an icemeker or ice cube trays for making ice and if the air conditioner had not conked out halfway through (thankfully, that was repaired). It doesn't show in the pictures, but everything in the game room is pretty aged and worn. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable, the place was very roomy and the televisions were in working order. Responses from the management were always quick and polite.

Celebrating my son’s birthday at Disney

The house had plenty of room, enjoyed the game room, pool and spa- not a hot tub, the water was only warm, but we didn’t mind. House was clean, felt safe in the gated neighborhood, had easy access to stores and gate to Disney parks was about 10 minutes away, used Uber to get everywhere which worked great! Had some trouble with the front door lock but the rental agency responded quickly and resolved it Wonderful weekend getaway!
