I was not able to check in as the host never returned any of my messages or any phone calls. The other company Vrbo tried to call multiple times he did not respond to them either. I was hours away from home with no place to stay, and had to find another somewhat suitable place to stay, which was not that great either. I had booked what I had booked because it was right by where the rest of my family was for the weekend and could not stay there because the owner/host would not respond or answer any phone calls or messages.
The fact that Expedia said they could do nothing for me. I had to call VRBO, which I did, and they were able to cancel my reservation and said they’d give me a refund, which I am waiting on, however, they could not book another property for me. They tried to send me a list, and I had no way of doing anything because I didn’t have the Internet. I had my phone, and I was trying to do it through the app while talking to the VRBO and I could not do both at the same time because of the way it was formatted in the email to me, I could not click on it.
So I really have nothing good to say about this host. I am very disappointed Expedia. I could not intervene and help.
