Our room was clean and the kitchen was well organized for people who want to cook on vacation. The food on the property (for those who don’t want to cook) was delicious! We went over the Fourth of July weekend and the pools were super busy. However I was super impressed at how well the pools and bathrooms were always kept clean regardless of the time of day.

This village is quite large. I mistakenly believed that the lazy river and other fun amenities were located in the same building. However, you must drive within the resort because it’s expansive. I got lost for a bit. The check in spot is not conveniently located near the room, it’s on the other side of the resort.

Over all our trip and stay was super fun. The rooms were what we expected. Nice and clean. However, there were smeared cigarette ashes on the window seal of the outside patio, left by previous occupants. The check-in wasn’t pleasant. The guy who checked us in wasn’t very friendly and he didn’t program our room pass keys properly, his communication skills were lacking and it took almost a hour for us to get into our Villa. A lady that worked the front office finally came and took care of all the guys mistakes, and we didn’t have any trouble after that. The service at Arnauld’s was excellent and friendly. We enjoyed the arcade, the gift shop, and the lazy river. I would definitely recommend Orange Lake to family and friends for the prices and amenities, plus the location is excellent.

Objective Review of Stay Experience The check-in process involved movement between several areas, which made it somewhat unclear, though it proceeded as expected overall. No orientation or explanation of resort amenities was provided at check-in. Guests were given a map without additional guidance, which made navigating the large property more challenging. The two-bedroom villa was spacious and well designed in terms of layout. However, cleanliness did not meet expectations, with visible dust present in the living areas and main bedroom. Accessing assistance during the stay was also limited. The post check-in text message primarily directed guests to the resort website, and the provided phone number connected to an off-site team that was unable to provide on-site support. Overall, the resort and villa have strong potential, but better communication, orientation, and housekeeping would improve the experience.

One of our best family vacations overall. The fight for pool chair is real! I would strong suggest the resort investing in more chairs. Our last day here, some lady flipped out and started throwing another guests stuff off chairs she apparently claimed as hers at 7am, it was 12:30 pm when she finally made her way to them and the staff had already moved all the towels to one chair and tagged the chair letting them know you cannot save seats, especially 10! Security was called and I was super surprised they let her stay after the seen she caused, cursing and throwing things. Lastly the floors in our unit felt sticky we all wore socks at all times.
