Family vacation

My family and I stayed here for 5 days and could not have been happier with the place!! The house slept all 14 of us pretty easily. Even with some adult kids not wanting to share a bed! Everything was clean and working and the host was super friendly! A board broke on the swimming dock and he drove 6 hours to fix it for us!! The 2 things I would tell people about this place, and not that they are bad things. Is it does have quite a few steps, down from the parking spot to the house and down to the lake. Second there is no swimming slide, even though it's pictured. Not big deals for our group of people, but things to think about is all. Overall the place is definitely worth it, and we're already talking about booking it for next summer!!

Family vacation

House is great. Fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of room for everyone. No one was on top of each other. Loved the upper and lower decks. We enjoyed all the water activities to rent. We had a great time fishing and hiking.

Another wonderful week at Vista Cove!

We enjoyed our stay for the second straight year at this spacious lake home. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well-stocked with pans, plates, glasses, silverware, utensils, and the kids love the game area. We love the quiet cove and the fun little town of Camdenton, but also went over to the busier area to play mini golf. We are already planning our next trip!

Osark Visit

Very nice place the dock was great for the kids and adults. Area hadfun things to do mini golf, go carts, hiking, and caves. Good time by all.

Poor Parking and Turn Around Area for Trailers

Turn around area is someone's yards at end of road. Little space for our crew to park with narrow road. Lots of steps down to house and down to dock. Steps leaning downhill not good for young and old alike. Nice inside house.

Family trip

It was a great property for our family stay. It had all the amenities for everyone from 11 months to over 40 yo have a great vacation. My 8 year old loved the water slide and caught his first fish.

The owner responds VERY fast if you have any questions. Location on the water is perfect. Far enough away from main channel for good swimming. Well stocked kithchen. Comfortable beds. Would give it a 10/10.

Great peaceful cove

Loved the area! It was a less busy part of the lake which we appreciate. House was spacious and met all of our needs. We had a boat delivered that we rented which was super convenient. The manager of the property was very responsive. We had a couple issues that were addressed by him in a very timely manner.

Beautiful house & Location - Easy Communication

The house was exactly the description stated. The house was very clean and provided all the amenities we needed. The kitchen was clean and fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, cutlery, and drinkware we needed. Plenty of beds made sure everyone had a spot to sleep. Outside, the property was in great shape. The stairs and dock were in excellent condition. The cove the house is located on was quiet and calm. Our group spent a lot of time sitting on the dock and swimming. We rented the kayaks, canoe, paddleboards, and paddleboat from the owner and all were in excellent condition and we made great use of all. The owner responded quickly and professionally to all messages. We felt very welcome at this property and would absolutely rent again from Carl.

Family Reunion

This house was perfect! It was nestled in a cove on the lake which allowed for water activities such as paddle boarding, kayaking , swimming and using their super fun water slide off the dock. The home offered enough space for 3 families to spread out and yet enjoy our time together. House was clean, beds were very comfortable and Carl was super responsive to any questions/concerns we may have had! We had a great time!

Perfect for our family!

This house has everything we were looking for, and more! It immediately felt like home, and had everything we needed. Check-in was a breeze, communication quick and friendly, kitchen supplies, cookware, dishes, all plenty for our large family. The location was great for our needs of water play and fishing, along with easy access to town. We are already planning for next year to come back here! We loved our time at Vista Cove, and highly recommend for families with young kids.

Beautiful quiet cove on the Lake

Carl's home worked well for our family of 10! We all had comfy places to sleep and a nice quiet cove to swim, boat and fish from. The house was well supplied with all kitchen items. We did have to buy laundry and dishwasher soap since we were left just a few of each. Dish TV worked fine, but no WiFi was a bit of an issue for the younger ones! (Age range 8 - 13) All in all, a successful family vacation!

Family getaway

We just spent time at Vista Cove. It was perfect for our family. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the upstairs deck every morning and our fishermen utilized the dock quite a bit. The host was very responsive to our needs. I recommend this property for families with children, so much to do.

Lots of fun for family

We had a great time here! Definitely recommend renting the owner’s kayaks and paddle boards to entertain the kids. Very calm location on the lake and very friendly neighbors. We did not realize that the place did not have WiFi ahead of time, but it ended up working out fine and our family had lots of fun and was comfortable.

Love the location. The kids loved the slide. The whole family really liked this house, very spacious and enough bedrooms for everyone. Could have been just a little bit cleaner, but all in all, it was awesome. We would stay here again.

Family vacay

We stay with a total of 15 or 16 people, mostly kids 6-17, for 9 days. The dock was awesome for fishing, and hanging out. The open floor plan of the house made it comfortable for everyone. Carl was very responsive to all messages.. having the life vests and water toys available was also great, they all got used all day. The house is located on a narrow road, I recommend launching your boat and leaving the trailers at Larry gale launch ramp,.

Enjoyable vacation

Our family enjoyed the home and the cove of the lake. The kids especially enjoyed enjoyed the rented canoe, kayaks , and paddleboard. The small cove of the lake was calm and peaceful. The two levels of the home let our group have time away from each other when needed! The lower level game area was really popular! Appreciated the “little” amenities around the house to make the stay feel more like home.
