A beautiful and spacious hotel near the Namba area!
The building was converted from a historical department store, so all the hallways and rooms are naturally spacious. The room and bedding are with a lot personalities and fun to stay in.
I stayed in a room with a full kitchen. It came with the fancy BALMUDA microwave/toaster oven which I genuinely recommended everyone to try!
Eco-friendliness wise, instead of bottled water, each room came with a water jag and they recommend you to get drinking water at the drinking station on each floor. If you decline room service you will receive a drink ticket for each day. The lobby cafe only opens 2pm-9pm, but you can save up these tickets, and 3 tickets can get you a free alcoholic drink too.
Directly across from the hotel is the Otaku district of Osaka. Good to shop for anime & manga stuff. The back alley is full of maid cafes & bars.
There are tons of back alley tiny restaurants, bars & izakayas in the neighborhood, many of them with outdoor dining tables or patios. Definitely a dive!
it’s a short walk to the Namba station area, and there are major department stores there. Of course the famous Dotonbori is in walking distance too.
