“Location is amazing if you are going to downtown Lawrence. An easy walk to concerts or shopping. Got back around midnight the first night and the CO detector was beeping low battery. I sent them a message and within 30 minutes a replacement battery was by the door. I wasn’t expecting that in the middle of the night. I feel the host really cares about the comfort and happiness of their guests and that is greatly appreciated. ”

“I have used VRBO MANY times but this rental was just totally weird. In this 2 bedroom apartment there were 2 rooms with renters and/or the owner around too. Each renter had a bedroom and the living room and kitchen were communal. I used neither. Each bedroom door had it's name written on a piece of paper thumbtacked to the door. The kitchen had the owners food and "stuff" in it and there were no lights in the kitchen, counters or fridge! I had to use my phone. When I saw it was already in use I...
