“My friend and I stayed here during a trip to climb Mount Toubkal and it couldn't have been better. From the moment we arrived to departure we were treated exceptionally well by all the staff at the hotel who were friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful in every way. I would thoroughly recommmend this hotel to anyone wishing to spend time in the village of Imlil and its surroundings. My friend and I both enjoyed our stay, the food, the views and the peace and quiet temendously.”

So we had to find another hotel. When we contacted Hotels.com to have our money back, they claimed that the booking was...

“The room wasn’t ready at the checking time. The mold was everywhere in the bathroom. No AC in the room, WiFI signal is extremely weak that TV goes off due to the lack of signal, closet shelves are broken, no table or desks where you can put your clothes, no shampoo and soap in the shower. An awful smell all over the room especially the bathroom. No welcoming staff. Coffee mashing was pouring water.”

“This is a uniquely situated, rustic property, run by lovely people. You will get a real experience of deep Morocco in the High Atlas if you visit. The area is incredibly beautiful. A magical experience. But be aware - this hotel is situated off road. To get here you will need a high clearance SUV if conditions are good. If they are not, a 4x4. Punctures are likely, so make sure you have a spare, and can change a wheel. If it snows, you may not be able to get there (or back) at all. There is a...
