“We stayed here as our son was competing in the Lake Placid Ironman. This location was perfect. Short drive to Lake Placid. The property was exactly as described and even better in person. It's cute and cozy. The Jay area is beautiful and would love to come back and hike in the area, as the cabin is close to many trail heads(short drive, under 15 minutes) Shannon's communication was outstanding! “This cabin was tucked away from the main road, giving a good balance of privacy and easy accessibility to lots of hiking options. Check in was super easy, the kitchen was easy to cook in, and while small, the shower offered great water pressure from its wide shower head. The deck was great for doing yoga on and the washer/dryer was convenient. We loved getting ice cream from the place down the street!”

“Great cabin, very responsive and kind hosts, great location. We stayed for a long weekend with two little kids- great location for hiking and sight seeing. The kids loved the hot tub and loft area. The only suggestion I would have for families with kids is to bring a gate, the stairs are steep. Otherwise we had a great time. Will definitely re-book!”

Be careful on the stairs - especially in sock feet - I’m 5’5” and was fine, my 6’6” husband was also fine but went up on all fours. Which was a laugh to see. Clean, cozy, comfortable bed, everything worked well, would love to come back someday. ”

“Everything was amazing. The cabin was big and beautiful, well maintained, and very clean! The screen porch is great to have for the mornings and evenings. The lake is gorgeous and we had a great time kayaking, swimming, and fishing each day. The cabin is close to all the areas we wanted see and the things we wanted to do - hikes, picnics, little towns, ice cream (!), etc. We would 100% recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to stay in the Adirondack region! ”
