“House was as advertised. Unfortunate that it was such a hot week as A/C would have been helpful (even window units). Internet went out at times, food from the prior guests was under the couch and guest room bed and the primary suite was sweltering.”

“There was no air conditioning and the property is directly across from a noisy bar, so you can choose to have all the windows closed and be hot or open the windows and be unable to sleep. The beds were futons with no sheets. The kitchen table and chairs were patio furniture. The sense of the place is the host putting in the bare minimum effort. It was a very disappointing experience and I recommend people instead stay at one of the many other places in the area.”

“The location was perfect for me. Coffee shops, restaurants, and grocery store within 3 minute walk. Beach 1 minute walk. View and ocean sounds from bedroom and living room. It was secure and safe. The parking place made a great difference. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy San Diego and beach living.”

“Go for the location alone! The patio is right on Mission Beach, directly on the boardwalk, and the views are fantastic. There’s also a wall A/C unit in the upstairs bedroom, which was a nice bonus if you want a cool place to relax or sleep after a day at the beach.”

“Only improvement would be to make sure you put a shield at end of the front door code. Otherwise, if someone follows directions word for word from what you send with entry the house is inaccurate. Thank you for a great stay! Beautiful view!”

“The property was awesome. Close to all. Host was awesome. I would like to suggest some things. Maybe do extra bug spraying I got bit up. But I get that And the mattress is very hard terrible sleep need to be bigger. And softer . And also why no tv in bedroom I love having tv in my room and I really think others do also and I would love to have a tv in there. They do sell arms to move around and u don’t need to hang from wall. Thank u to a great host love your place”

“Overall, our stay was pretty good. The description was accurate. Location was awesome! Price was right in line with proximity to the boardwalk, sand and ocean. Could not have gotten closer, perfect! Had a little trouble at check in as our unit was not ready at 4pm when we got there. Eric, the host was there and apologized for the delay. A heads-up text message would have been nice, but we dealt with it by going to get some groceries. Came back, waited a little bit and finally was able to get...

“Amanda, the owner, was very difficult to communicate with. The property was advertised having the amenities of paper towels and toilet paper. Upon our arrival, we were notified that a “starter kit” was provided. This interaction with Amanda tainted the trip.”

“House was spacious and in a pretty and quiet neighborhood located close to La Jolla Cove. It suited our needs for 6 perfectly. Host added an air mattress for us and there was plenty of room for it. Directions for check in and jacuzzi use were very clear. Also there was shampoo, conditioner and body soap in each bathroom which I thought was super.”

“The property is located in a nice area and close to the grocery store and University Town Center. My stay in the casita was comfortable, and the garden area was peaceful and lovely. I would stay there again.”

“We enjoyed our stay, however for large parties we could have used extra toilet paper, and extra trash bag liners. The mini-split in master bedroom made an awful noise all night long could not figure after I turned it off why it was still making a loud noise. But overall we enjoyed our stay”
