The home was a joy to stay in. Location was great and able to walk to shops and restaurants. The only negative I'd like to report, is that handrails should be installed in the main bathroom shower/bath. tub a bit slippery.

Navy Family Retreat

We have a family member who will be attending the Navy Postgraduate School in Monterey. We were able to have a short family visit with all of our family. The space allowed us to have a family meal, watch movies, but access the beach and have fun.

Point break stay

We had a great time with our 3 kids! The house was setup great. Even had a pack and play. Great location and easy to get everywhere! Would definitely stay again!

Great place, great location

This house was great for our family. Updated, clean, comfy beds, well built (not one creaky floor). Wedged between downtown Pacific Grove and Lovers' Point Beach, the location is ideal for walking. We would stay here again.

Golf trip

We came out to see some friends and to play golf at some of the local courses. The house was perfect for this. Great location and everything in order. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay with family at Point Break. It was a great location to get to shops, restaurants and the beach. Well stocked with everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Point Break, one block from Lover's Point and the gorgeous trail from there to Monterey, for 5 nights. It is a lovely home and one of the very few with 3 bedrooms and 3 king beds. We loved sitting in front of the living room fireplace as well as the one in the master suite. Everything was in top condition with superior bedding and towels. The kitchen was well appointed with anything you might need. Having a garage was a plus. A lovely backyard with a fire pit and barbeque that we happily used several evenings. We will only use Sanctuary Vacation Rentals because of their personal and exceptional service, attention to detail, beautiful homes and caring assistance. We look forward to staying again at Point Break as well as trying some of Sanctuary rentals in Pacific Grove other immaculate homes.

Location is great about 6 houses from beach and 2 blocks from restaurants. House is as described, check in and out a breeze. One tiny point for improvement would be privatizing the glass for both the front and back doors. Literally, anyone walking by can see in through the mostly plain glass front door.
