The location was perfect for the activities we chose to do. Our favorite thing was how close it was to go walk along the beach trail. It was so nice to have a peaceful house with plenty of light coming in and the ambiance of a fireplace to heat us up when we came back each time. The details to make the stay easy and comfortable were all so nice.

Wonderfully comfortable home, exactly as described! We were able to enjoy the downtown area, the trail with it's beautiful bay views! From the trail we saw sea otters and harbor seals. The home is located within walking distance to resturants, shops and the trail. It was well equipped with outdoor seating, a washer / dryer unit and beach chairs. We highly recommend this amazing cottage! Our family enjoyed our stay!

We stayed here in April of 2026. Property was conveniently located central to Monterey attractions, like the beaches, aquarium, and local restaurants. The home was roomy with adequate accommodations for our stay. Our only constructive criticism would be the upstairs windows had detachable screens, which we felt a little unsafe for young children. Overall, we’d stay here again.

We just spent 4 days at this property and loved it! Sunny, clean, super comfy beds. I think the best feature is you can walk six minutes to the beach or six minutes the other direction to a very charming and walkable business district. Perfect for our little family vacation with two kids age 17 and 20.

We stayed at 3943 Rad Beach House from Wednesday, July 23rd to Sunday, July 27th, and absolutely loved every moment. This charming and quaint home was the perfect getaway for our family. The house had a warm, welcoming vibe, with thoughtful touches throughout that made it feel like a true home away from home.We especially enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, peaceful surroundings, and easy access to the beach and local spots. It’s rare to find a place that blends comfort, character, and location so perfectly. Our family created so many wonderful memories here, and we’re already talking about coming back.Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay!

Great Location!

We were very cozy in the house, beds were comfy, good stock of utensils, cups, plates, beach towels, patio furniture. Within walking distance of everything- Lover's Point, Museum a Natural History, Lighthouse Blvd, nice Farmer's Market on Mondays. The Salty Seaman carving on porch surprised me everytime!

Rad Beach House

Comfy, cozy home within blocks of Lovers Point. We enjoyed the location, the great condition of the home (originally built in the late 1800's!) and the communications with the management company was excellent. I volunteer every year for the AT&T Pro-Am golf and have stayed in this area for the past dozen years. This home will be added to my list of favs.

The sailor statue kept scaring us but we realized he's actually a benevolent spirit protecting the house. Thanks, Ahab!

Weekend trip with family

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We would absolutely stay here again. The home has an amazing location. Walking distance to downtown Pacific Grove and to Lover's Point Park. It's a 5 minute drive to Cannery Row and the Acquarium. It will take longer to find parking than drive there. The home itself is clean, functional, and very well maintained. Note the mattresses are a little on the soft side if that matters to you (not an issue for us)The only thing to be mindful of is if you have small children, the heating system uses a natural gas fireplace so you have to set up a barrier around the fireplace to prevent kids from running into it.The service was exceptional. They called us on Thanksgiving to wish us a nice holiday and make sure we had everything we needed.
