Take a walk along the beach on the Monterey Bay Coastal Trail; past Asilomar Beach, onward to Pebble Beach and the famous 17-Mile Drive. Or towards Monterey Bay Aquarium, Cannery Row and Fisherman’s Wharf by the historic downtown Monterey with its shops & restaurants.

Stroll down Ocean View Boulevard to Lover's Point Park and rent a bike or surrey (4-person bike), travel along the Monterey Bay Coastal Trail to the Aquarium, Cannery Row and Old Fisherman's Wharf and beyond! Save the parking fees because of the convenience of never needing to take your car. Bike rental is available at the Lover's Point Park (next to the snack bar) and at Cannery row as well. All it takes is less than 10 minutes of driving to Carmel-by-the-Sea; an amazing, European-style village with shops, restaurants, wine tour, art galleries, and more.
